RE: Class A Fulltimer freeze concerns

If really want to be safe, go to tractor supply and buy a freeze cube. They plug in a electrical socket and at 35 degrees they will turn on a heater and off at and 45 degrees. Used for animal water tanks. Go to walmart and purchase a 400 watt personal heater. Put this in your wet bay and worries are over.

RE: windshield wiper failure

Try using rain-x latitude blades, because they have less wind resistance they don't put as much strain on the motor

RE: Where is everyone getting their wiper blades?

Paid that big price once, mine had the big J hook. Cut last 2 inches off, went to junk yard and got 2 arms off ford pickup for $5.00, cut 3 in. off that arm, overlapped new smaller J hook on old arm and welded. Now buy new 28 in. rainex latitude blades for $8.oo. Just an idea

RE: 6" valve stems

If you install these from experience also install rubber wheel inserts to support them

RE: Battery Hold downs

When mine corroded beyond use I threw them away. I figure if the batteries bounce out of the tray in a 40 foot motor home, I've got more serious problems than batteries. (jmho)

Not 100% positive but that looks like a threaded rod screwed into the eyelet. Try turning it out. If it comes out go to a industrial supply store and purchase a threaded rod grade 5 or grade 8. Cut to length use "lock-Tight" when installing the threaded rod into the eyelet. You now have manufactured your own tensioner. Hope this helps

RE: RV Tank Maintenance

Google " GEO " method, Dawn dish soap and Calgon water softener. Been using this for years with good success. Lasts about 6 months then do it again. I do this every time I move.

RE: Dealer never put TITLE in my name, am I stuck??

I don't know about PA, most states will issue a 30 temp tag to move a vehicle with proven insurance. Check this out before a tow. Blessings; Keith

RE: Surge Protector

My 13 year old progressive industries EMS-50C burnt up do to miss wired power source this last summer. Called progressive and they promptly sent me a new one under warranty after verifying I had one by texting them a picture of it. This unit saved me numerous times in the past, can't enough good about them.
