RE: Be careful with engine block heaters

It's not the block heater itself that is faulty it is the male plug on the cord, it will short out and cause some arcing. Happened on my 03 duramax and I just simply replaced the male end, no more issues. Purchased a new duramax in 2017 and shortly after the recall came out, same thing the male end of the cord, I have not had any issues with it yet. Have a 2020 F550 with the same heater and cord, so far no issues from it either.

RE: Would $7 per gal effect your RV lifestyle?

Price of fuel going up, price of everything going up, stock market dropping like a lead balloon. We may not stop using our motor home but it will most likely change our plans on how far we travel and how many trips we take this year.

RE: Advice on unique oppotunity

I have a Super C on a 2020 F550 chassis 6.7L diesel, finding a shop to do maintenance on it is not an issue. Having owned several motor homes on the E chassis, you will enjoy driving this one much better. I will never go back to a gasser.
