RE: Anyone replaced their Schwintek slide with a pulley system?

I had 2 motors go on the schwintec slides on my rushmore while on vacation. Good thing the slides where in. They aren't hard to replace if you can push your slide out a few inches to get at them. But I coundnt get mine out so let the dealer do it

RE: Upstairs Living Room

Ya I thought I wouldn't have much storage but there is a lot on my hc 374. We can use the kitchen while travelling. I just have so much more room than my first rear living room trailer.

RE: Upstairs Living Room

We have had 2 love the second one high country 374. Top keeps cool with the 16k ac . I opened the ducts a little for better air flow. We have 2 couches and 2 recliners with 42 inch and fp. my older rushmore have a big back window and could lay in bed and see the lake it was nice also.

RE: Dish antenna ideas

dish network even works in Ontario Canada for me. Can only use 25ft cable or it wont pick up all the stations. many times we have been down south with friends that have the roof mount and they cant get anything, just pull ours out and find and opening.

RE: Double towing in Ontario

Gramps that 11000 isn't enough now a days with the trucks and trailers we are pulling. my truck door sticker is 5906 plus 6985 trailer. 12891 so for you US guys that's my 3500 gmc and my 15400 trailer. I have buddies that are up to 18-19 on there trailers. The only kicker is that if something happened insurance has a big loop hole not to pay unless you have the class A restricted.

RE: Double towing in Ontario

Can imagine its going to get busy at the mto license place. Iam looking into class A restricted now. You need to write a test and can use your own truck and trailer.

RE: Double towing in Ontario

They don't even no. I just spoke with head of mto up in barrie just north of Toronto. He said they may start weighting trucks pulling fvers this summer. I have a 2017gmc 3500 dually gvw of 56ookg by the door sticker. Trailer is 6500kg so combined he said over 11000 kg. I need a class A restricted to pull my fver lol. He said he could fine almost every fifthwheel driver on the road. So if I register my truck now to pull 12500 that's what iam at now my wife can drive the truck at all inless she has the proper licence.

RE: It's getting easier

I pretty much judge the height may have to get in and out once but I keep it low so when I back under it lifts a little so there is no high hitching. Also noticed last month I had my pin box raised so while watching the guy lift the trailer,i could of swore he was lifting my dually of the ground. But then I could see it lift up 1/4 of an inch out of the hitch. Iam so used to pulling out and the trailer drop a little not any more. And a secret I do to back under and line up . My child restraint in the back seat sticks up and is dead center to my hitch. So line up the latch to the pin box and hit it every time.
