RE: TST 507 tire monitor system

2-3 years also. So I replace all of them at the same time, every 2 seasons.

RE: Goodyear Endurance Tire Pressure

Keep the High Temp alarm. That is one of the indicators to an impending blow out.Didn't see anyone else mention it to you, but make sure you have metel valve stems put on your tires. The weight of the sensor will tear up your rubber stems. As said before, 80psi cold, the rising temp is normal when moving.

RE: NC to Maine Road Trip

While going through main, we love Wells Beach. There are a number of campgrounds, we like Sea Vu and Sea Vu West. Great places to eat. Right in between Kennybunkport (home of the Bush's) and Ogunquit. There is a trolly that runs by both campgrounds, $1 to ride, $3 to go all the way to Ogunquit.

Need a lift for my 5th wheel hitch

Ok, I'm finally admitting it. At age 59, I need a lift for my 5th wheel hitch. Wrenched my back lifting it into the back of the truck this week. Anybody have suggestions? Reasonably priced I hope.....

RE: Military Campgrounds

Retired Marine here. I've used the Military campgrounds many times. Never had a bad experience and they have always been very reasonable on price!

RE: 2016 F250 tranny

I had a 2012 f250 which I believe had the same tranny. It was always downshifting and screaming high rpm's when towing. I used to get concerned on some of the long incline's I pulled on. Bought a 2017 diesel dually f350 and found it a totally different pulling experience.....

RE: pickup bed tent

When we were down in the Outer Banks a couple years ago, there was a truck close to us where the guy had pretty much made his own bed tent. Put an air mattress in the bed, set up an easy up over the back, attached sides to it, had lighting on the frame of the easy up along with other accessories. Was pretty cool.

RE: What is most weight you guys haul with a F250?

I had a 2012, gas, crew Cab, 4x4, F250 and pulled our current 5th wheel (10K pounds dry). Max tow wieght of that one was 12K. This was at the top of the specs for the truck. It struggled on steeper inclines. I switched to a F350 Dually a year ago. Wish I had done it earlier. If you are planning on pulling a 5'r, switch trucks!

RE: MAINE Campgrounds

We love Wells Beach. Sea Vu and Sea Vu West are very nice campgrounds. There's a trolly that runs all around the area for $1. Great food. Nice beaches.

RE: Recommendations for Lake Vacation in Maine

Take a look in NH too. Some great places. Danforth Bay is right on Lake Ossipee. Great campground with lots to do near...

RE: 3/4 ton truck questions

If the Ford is a newer model, you can order the under the bed puck system right from Ford Parts. They deliver to a local dealer and if you do it this way, you can pay for installation when ordering. When I did this last year, it was $700 for the puck system and $100 for the installation. The dealer was a little upset that he had to install it for $100!

RE: Tire concern

BUT....If you still have the same tires on your trailer that came with it you could be near the end. Actually gone past it. Look at the brand name and post it. I'll bet you have been riding on China Bombs for the last 2 years. Posting from experience...

RE: 2018 F350

Watch your gas mileage. You will also see that for about 20 to 25 miles, your gas mileage drops down dramatically. It is defiantly your regen process....

RE: Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems TPMS

Been using the TST for 4 years now. Never any issues. 41' 5th wheel and don't need a repeater. Have a tire store install the metal valve stems on your tires for you. As stated above, replace batteries each year....

RE: Bought a dually for a daily driver

I went from an F250 gasser to a F350 Dually Lariat diesel in December. Drive it daily and love it. You just get used to parking in the back of parking lots and don't bother using drive throughs. Good exercise.
