RE: Not Enough Windows or Roof Vents

My first TT was a 1977 prowler and it was 20 ft inside. WE had booth in the front with lots of windows there and in the rear bedroom also. It had 3 vents. No it didn't have many cabinets. Now I have a 24ft and allot more cabinets but only 4 windows and one vent. I do miss more windows when its hot and need to install a Max Air fan soon.

RE: Small Fridge Fan?

I know I have seen input regarding a small fan to help air movement in the outside of the fridge to help move air and heat up the wall. What king of fan do I need to use? 12 or 120v ? Computer fan? One that runs on a small battery. A battery powered fan would be used inside the fridge compartment just to circulate air but for improved air flow outside the fridge one would want to use a 12 vdc powered fan. My bad ..I fixed it.:)

RE: Small Fridge Fan?

Hello, I asked this question on some else's thread and felt like I was hijacking it. I know I have seen input regarding a small fan to help air movement in the outside of the fridge to help move air and heat up the wall. What king of fan do I need to use? 12 or 120v ? Computer fan? Thanks Soundguy has it covered. Was thinking inside of fridge.

RE: Theft

That stinks. Even up here in Maine I feel the need to hide my stuff that's in the cab of my truck and now that I have a small inverter generator I probably will chain that up along with my ladder. Thay can have my $89 dollar grill. It seems at times that this is what its come to but I also feel most campers wouldnt steal.

RE: Need suggestions to correct towing

Lifted trucks with 35" are great toys but serious equipment is required for towing. I suspect that if you lose the 35's and go to a real LT tire and return your suspension to stock, you'll have no problems. There is no reason a truck like that shouldn't be able to tow a 25R effortlessly. That is exactly what I had to do. Drop tire size to from 285 to 245 stock size and lower truck back down 2 inch. What a difference and at 57 it makes it easy to get in and out of the truck.

RE: R.I.P, my trusty Toshiba

Nothing like a new lap top. My last was a Toshiba and I got 6 years out of it and now I have a Dell only because it was on sale. Enjoy your new HP Mr Ed.

RE: Medicine cabinet

You are going to have a tough time putting a cabinet in a wall that doesn't have an opening already framed in it. It may be possible to mount it to the wall but that would depend on where you want it and where the wall studs (if any) are located. Good point.

RE: Medicine cabinet

Id agree with Tracker. I have no problem building a cabinet but for $45 its not worth my time and supplys. It is made out of MDF bit so is the rest of my TT cabinets. Make sure your screws when you install a cabinet are not to long. Im guessing around 1/34 with washers into the studs should be safe. You may need to add a extra magnet if door doesn't stay closed when traveling..
