RE: Where is the turn signal flasher

Good Job! Keep an eye on that relay to make sure it doesn't overheat those spade connections again.

RE: Yet another Onan running like **** thread. HELP!

Good suggestions above. What is the condition of the fuel line to the generator? Might have a rusted pickup line on the fuel tank.

Cut access panels, no need to "rip it out"

RE: My Onan Generator is Vexing me!

Dford has some excellent suggestions! I have seen some NASTY generator fuel line(s) from the gas tank. Road dirt and debris get kicked on top of fuel tank. Dirt gets wet and slowly dries creating some nasty rust. Also brittle fuel lines. Might not be the issue but worth looking into. How old is the gas that the generator is drawing from?

RE: LP generators

Try and find a diesel rig with a diesel generator. I love my Onan QuietDiesel 7500. Sips the diesel and very quiet! Don't know if I could ever switch to gas or LP genset. Guess I have been spoiled.

RE: Atwood Water Heater Tank Crack Repair ? UPDATE

I removed a HWH that was froze solid! Looked like a beach ball! Had to pull it out thru the back of a bookcase! Would not fit thru the opening. If it was indeed frozen i bet it did more than just crack. Replace it!

RE: Windows update before hell freezes over

I just schedule updates for 2 AM. No muss, no fuss. Bingo!! Id like to see the specs on some of the computers posted above. Been in the IT support side for 30 years! Do t miss it! I suggest just two programs, both free; AVG free anti virus. SuperAnti spyware. Programs like the full suite of Norton will slow older pc's to a crawl!

We have an Onan Quietdiesel 7500. LOVE IT! Starts up first time, every time and sips the diesel. Very quiet.

RE: Does my 6v have a bad internal connection?

What is the make/model of your battery charger? You need to get the proper battery charging specs for your batteries and then try and determine if that H.F. charger will properly charge your batteries. My Xantrex Freedom charging configuration for wet cell batteries will NOT fully charge my four Interstate batteries. I checked them with a battery hydrometer after the Xantrex went to float. Not fully charged! Got the proper charge specs from Interstate and punched them into my charge controller and now my batteries show charged using hydrometer. The main issue was the adsorb voltage, not high enough on the Xantrex! If I had a $ for every RV that was improperly charging their house batteries id be driving around in a Tesla!

RE: Very slow propane leak: how to find it?

Soapy water over EVERY INCH of your propane lines. If you cant find any leaks then you might have to plug the gas lines to stove, Water Heater, furnace(s), absorption fridge and such then pressure test the lines. If they are gas tight then it must be one of the appliances. Don't forget the pressure regulator, they can sometimes leak as well as any rubber gas lines, e.g. lines from regulator to tanks and rubber gas hoses if you have a gas appliance in a slide. Not fun but the only way your going to track down a leak.

RE: Having trouble locating short circuit

mounting ANY hardware inside or outside? Running a screw in a wall or roof could hit wire(s).

RE: Dometic Frig Model RM2652 not working.

"Easy fix" until you figure out how your getting current fridge out and new fridge in. Having to go thru a window is not fun! Keep us posted on your project.
