Air bags or "Bump Stop" type suspension

I'm towing a 2020 Grand Design, 10500# (when fully loaded) 30' fiver with a pin weight topping out around 1900#. The tow rig is a 2014 F250 6.7 diesel super cab with 6 3/4 bed. The truck squats just a bit when I haul and just want to get it up to level. I've been shopping the Air Lift 7200 bags with the remote and on board compressor, and the Timbren brand "bump stops". Any feedback on either or both out there? Thanks.

RE: Looking into a 2017 Grand Design

Thanks for all the GD input, unfortunately we got caught flat footed and the rig we were looking at was sold the next day. However,we were able to get a little more educated on the 5ers. so, we keep looking.

Former motorhomer but new to 5th wheelers yes. I see GD has been around since 2012 as opposed to some of the more recognizable names out there that have been building rvs for decades. Just trying to pick a solid 5er that will serve us well.

Wheelbase questions

We're looking at towing a 8500# dry weight 5th wheel. The TV we're looking at is a f250 6.7 diesel, 6 3/4 box super cab. I'm not to concerned with the weight but the shorter super cab wheelbase is 142" vs a longer 156" in the crew cab. Any issues with the shorter truck on handling? Made a similar post but can't find it now.

Looking into a 2017 Grand Design

Never heard of this manufacturer until we stumbled onto one recently. Visually the quality seems good, but not sure what is "under the hood". We're looking at a 2017 29RS. Any feedback on quality issues one way or the other would be appreciated.

towing capcity and payload capacity.

i'm trying to figure out what truck with what 5th wheeel and am finding out with the diesels it seems the towing limitations are with the payload capacities. the trucks seem like they can tow a **** load but limitations come in with regards to the payload. do i have this right? i am currently looking at a 2015 f250 king ranch 6.7 turbo diesel crew cab srw. if i'm looking at 5th wheels in the 30 ft or less(maybe 12000lb max loaded) range, will i have enough truck. of course the dealer tells me heck ya, that truck will "tow" 20000# plus. i would prefer to stay with the f250 vs the f350 thinking the ride will be smoother. thanks for any input on the subject.
