RE: Trough Road between Kremmling and State Bridge CO

We have not been on that road, but a CO resident recommended that road when we were looking for a scenic way to Fort Collins. He saw that we had a 40' FW. Betsy.

RE: Thousand Trails memberships

We had a membership and the only three CG's we used were all messy. Weeds, etc. Not our kind of place. Betsy.

RE: Escaping heat next summer?

Williams, AZ is a nice little town west of Flagstaff to escape the heat. 30 miles from Flag and all the good restaurants.

RE: Towing to Julian from Pauma - Best Route?

We were just on 76 a couple weeks ago going home to Havasu. 40' fifth wheel. Very narrow and windey. With my husbands excellent driving skills it was just fine. You cannot get in a hurry. Pala was a wonderful place to camp.

Trailer Life Magazine

I read that Trailer Life and Motorhome magazine were ceasing to be in print and going on line only. Has anyone else heard this? Thank you. Betsy.

RE: las vegas

We had a very expensive bicycle stolen off the back of our fifth wheel while there. The thievs cut through an inch diameter Cryptonite lock. Otherwise, good place.

RE: I-70 Glenwood Canyon Colorado fire closure

4runnerguy, Thanks for the I70 updates. I look for it each day. Our DD is in Fort Collins and between the Poudre fire and 70 their air is horrible. Betsy.

RE: best route with a trailer to South Tahoe from San Diego

Didn't read your entire post. Boulder Creek is nice for 1 night. I am partial to Bishop and it puts you an hour farther. World famous bakery in Bishop also.

RE: best route with a trailer to South Tahoe from San Diego

San Diego to Tahoe is a long drive. You might want to stop for 1 night in Bishop. A neat little town. Highlands RV Park is right on 398.

RE: Scenic Routes/Places to See in WY, ID, MT, SD & E. CO

ID 12 from Lolo Pass south is a fav of ours. We always camp at USFS CG Powell. Any road in Idaho is pretty hard to beat. Enjoy. Betsy.

RE: Thousand Trails memberships

We gave up our membership because the only ones we used were old and trashy. There are some nice ones but we never got to them. Betsy.
