Photos of New Fishing Bridge RV Park - YELLOWSTONE
Hey Gang. I've been searching for some time both here and mr. google but have not found any photos of the newly renovated fishing brdige RV park at Yellowstone. I've even looked on Yellowstone / Xantera website, and they still show the ancient pics of yesteryear.
Anyone out there know of any? We've stayed there before and as we plan 2023 trips were wondering what it's like now. Thanks.

One of the newest private campgrounds in central IL is Sankoty Lakes. They have a restaurant, are on the IL river, and have a few ponds. Just about 30 min north of Peoria. Small, new, and all FU from what I can see. Cabins too.
FYI -- Sankoty is the name of the underground river running from Canada to southern states. It's a huge aquafir that many towns/cities pull water from. Our home has a well, not city water, and we are tapped into the Sankoty.

Country Water Fill - Class C Jayco
Having had TT's for 20 years, I guess I was spoiled by filling the fresh water tank with a hose via gravity through a simple opening. We've had our C since late 2018 and for the first time this past Sunday (Memorial wknd), I needed to fill the fresh water tank with another 5 to 10 gallons of water for our last night. I carry an empty 5 gal container, no problem. Filled it nearby.
The book states that I put the hose in the container, and attached to fresh water inlet, I did. I turned the valving to indicate "country fill", and turned on the pump. It's supposed to suck the water in, according to the book.
But 20 mins of it, and only 1.5 gal went in. I fiddled with the hose and got maybe another couple quarts after another 15 mins. I feel like I'm going to burn up my pump.
What gives? I guess I expected it to work better. "Normal" filling has pressurized water, and they call it "city fill". I get it. What am I doing wrong here?

Agree with Pensacola Beach RV and Santa Rosa RV. Topsail Hill Preserve SP is exceptional -- all FU -- on beach. But you need to book nearly a year in advance (11 months maybe?).
We are booked for Destin West RV park, farther west than Pensacola (like santa rosa RV park) for 3rd wk June this year. Have not been to it yet but looks super nice.

Start with the owners manual. Look up the 2018 RV Flat Tow/Dinghy guide here via Camping world, I think links at top of page.
I looked into towing our 2016 F150 flat down and it was doable. Went with a Jeep, now wife tags along behind as we downsized expenses so oldest could go to college.
I'm sure others here will have experience with your application.

I like the idea of a valve to run off a separate fuel can for winterizing / cleaning the carb. Will have to keep that in mind.

RE: 2022 Ford Ranger Flat Towing?
The Ranger, 4WD, is all four down towable. eTrailer is a good source...they not only have done many installs, but have great how-to videos on those exact trucks. I just watched a few on the Ranger a few days ago.
Must be 4WD, and able to be put in drivetrain neutral (different from transmission neutral) via the 4WD selector knob. We once had a truck that did not show N on the knob, but you had to click it like 5 times to make it happen.
Anyway, check out eTrailer for info.

Another option, as long as the factory headlight assembly is not broken, is to buy the $30 (may cost more now than a few years ago) headlight restoration kit at your auto parts store. I tried it a few years back on an older vehicle. Basically, it's a paste, with some sort of grit, and you use circular pattern to mill off a couple thousands of an inch of the face plastic material. It's a multi step process but I saved money, and 3 years later they still look good. In the end, it allows you to remain using your factory lighting assembly but remove the yellow haze. Worth checking out for those in that situation.

Yikes! Had not heard of this ever happening...BlueOx, not even other brands. We flat towed for a year with a 20 year old Jeep using the steel front bumper and a cheap tow bar -- something I was always worried about is what happened to you. I thought the actual baseplates (vs setup we used to have) was safer.

Rafter J in Hill City. It was a former stagecoach stop over 100 years ago. It's an incredible park -- wide, open RV spaces, some in the trees, some by the pool, it's an incredible park. Minutes from Rushmore, and everything you need/want.
It books fast. It's private. And, if you look it up, you'll see how incredible it is. One of the top RV parks in the country. Been there 3 times and can't wait to go again in a few years.

Another option, though less used, is having someone drive the car / follow behind. We did flat towing for a bit, but as we've downsized (our flat tow vehicle was used only for that), my wife now just drives behind us. We don't dolly or do 4-down. However, we do 3 or 4 weeks a year "full time" but when we fully retire in a few years, we will do either a dolly or get something to once again tow 4-down. Just an idea.

I have sold major items person-person many times, and besides certified funds (from a bank ideally, or cash) that you take to your bank to verify FIRST, you would sign over title AND provide bill of sale, signed by both parties.
HOWEVER---I don't live in CA.
You'll dislike me for saying this -- but you should figure all that stuff out FIRST before having sold it. Know the process for your state. Have a plan. Know what types of payments you'll take and HOW you will handle them. Contact the DMV (or website) of your state and see if they have info. Again, I can't imagine that it's any harder than Bill of Sale, Title signed, and certified funds.

RE: Help with malfunctioning automatic RV step.
I just had this problem late last year. Had to crawl under, disconnect the motor. It's a fairly standard connector -- find the small clip, push, and pull connector apart.
I found new assemblies on amazon to be the best priced. Will be ordering our new one in next week or so ... looks straightforward to install (3 bolts I think).
You will have to find your model number of the motor asy and go from there. ***NOTE: I'm talking about the motor/gear asy, not the whole step!!!!
I also searched here on RV.net and found many others having similar issue; they fail every so often. I don't like the whole design.
