RE: Rotted plywood ceiling, can it be replaced and reglued

If the link works this is how I repaired a corner on my toy hauler 3 years ago. I have had no issues with it since then.

Dirt road travel

I currently have a toy hauler and I am considering moving to a TT. My TH is really solid. I have driven it over 40 miles of dirt forest road at times (15-25 mph) and it is put together well. My concern is what can I expect out of a TT on such a road? Are there certain manufacturers to stay clear of? Is a fiberglass shell better than aluminum?
Thanks

3.5 eco boost w/ 10 speed

For those of you with a similar tow vehicle do you just use the tow/haul mode or do you also lock out a couple of the higher gears?
Thanks

Aluminum or fiberglass trailer

I currently have an aluminum side camper and have no issues with it. I am looking into trading and I am wondering what you see as the pros and cons of either aluminum sideline or fiberglass. My concern when I see fiberglass is a lot of them have ripples in them and I don’t know whey that would be. Also, I am only looking at used units.
Thanks

RE: Generator storage for travel trailer

Last I checked Hondas in good condition sold for a fairly high price on ebay. Don't give it away.
Thanks
I really like it. I camp/hunt in the winter with it and it sure is nice when it is cold out to just hit that remote start and get the coffee going. If I have to swap over it will be hard to get use to. My back just wont stand lifting much into the truck.

RE: Generator storage for travel trailer

I hate to give up my EU3000. It is quiet and I have remote start on it.
I see they make an adjustable bolt on or weld on rear hitch. That with the lock and load may be my best bet if I want to keep what I have. Otherwise I will go with 2ea 2000 and slave them.

RE: I think I FINALLY found the TT

To be honest I never even looked at that. I just took the data on the other label GVWR and looked in the book.

RE: I think I FINALLY found the TT

I just bought a 2018. According the brochure the payload capacity is 2050 with my 7000 GVWR (3.5 eco boost, 3.55 145” WB 4x4). The only option below that is 1420 with the 6750 GVWR. One of us is reading something wrong. Don’t mean to question your numbers but it makes me question mine.
Either way I think you are good to go
I love the layout of your TT and hope you really enjoy it.

RE: Generator storage for travel trailer

Small 2500 sits in the truck bed.
Really like to keep the 3000 I have. It is nice and quite and runs everything. Who made the 2500 you have and is it as quite as the Honda’s?
Thanks

Generator storage for travel trailer

I currently have a toy hauler and roll my honda 3000 up in the back and strap it down. Real easy and no heavy lifting. I am looking at selling it and getting a TT. Where do you put your Generator? I don’t want to have to get a ramp and put it in the back of my truck so I am looking into options. Can a mount be made/welded to the back frame and set it there?
Any ideas/pictures are appreciated
