RE: Water line burst

hind sight is 20-20. you can count yourself lucky this time. may not be so lucky next time. I carry two regulators in case a family member needs one. I have turned off many a RV that had hoses and other things burst because of high pressure in parks

RE: Blow out water lines question

I used to only blow out the lines but I only did that for one year, I had to replace a lot of water lines that froze and burst. Now I blow out the lines and use rv freeze in the lines. they hake a rv anti freeze valve and you can place it on the pump intake and it only takes less then a gallon of rv anti freeze to winterize your RV. with the valve left in place there is an on/off built in valve, sure makes winterizing a lot easier.

RE: RV Toilet

After using a product like this (https://www.campingworld.com/rv-flexible-swivel-stik-15716.html?cgid=sewer#sz=21&start=37&cgid=sewer) my sensors were cleaned up. I had to buy one of these while wintering in Yuma our first year, I made the mistake of leaving the area before the black tank was done draining and I forgot to close the valve so I had a lot of blockage to clear out and this tool did the trick. I never leave home now without it. if you have a build up and it is causing blockage use the tool and really clean out the black tank

RE: Fantastic Fan Motor???

well if it were me I would call them one more time and ask for two things. the right motor this time and a return shipping label to sent the wrong ones back

RE: RV park rates

there is a CG on the Oregon coast that tripled their prices and we don't stay there any more. can't tell you if the park is full now or not

RE: Motor homes and earth quakes.

if you think driving a motor home through some of calif's pot holes is bad, wait until you ride it out in a quake.

RE: Flowjet Waste Pump Blessing or Curse...?

I had one, used it a couple of times and the blades were always stuck... I ended up gifting it to my BIL, and getting this - clicky 10 times better... Now, I only use it 2-3 times a year and I really like it Good Grief at that price it should shine your shoes too

RE: Suburban water heater.

the guys in the service bay told me to wiggle the wires on all the connections. they get corroded and need to be just cleaned 90% of the time

RE: Replaced toilet won't sit on floor

home depot sells wedges to keep the toilet from rocking and the seal should be working to keep water and smell out of the room

RE: Fridge on propane while driving

I am the RV doctor and the guy from tv education 101 say leave it off. I was on the fire dept for 30 years and fought several rv fires that started in the back of the fridge because they thought it would never happen to them. come to my town and see the new rebuilt gas station we have because of a motor home fridge was left on and he gassed up and burned the place down and a ups truck refueling next to him. there are some tunnels back east that tell you to turn off your propane when going through the tunnel. must be a good reason for that, right?? In my mind there are a lot of people who think it's ok because they have gotten away with it for years. their turn is coming. Murphy will see to that. I use freezable ice packs to put int he fridge between the food when I travel and at night when sleeping I refreeze the packs for the next travel day
