RE: Roof Vent covers

I have Fantastic fans with the matching covers. I have had the same sets on 2 different trailers and they are still going strong

RE: Metal carport RV shelter

The one I have for my 31' fifth wheel is 36'x18' with 12' legs. The center of the carport is 3-4 feet above the roof at the highest point, more on the ends.

RE: Transferring fresh water when dry camping

I bought a 25 gallon spray rig from Northern Tool. I took off the spray hose and installed a quick connect water hose fitting. I took off the alligator clips from the electrical wires and replaced them with a regular 7 blade rv plug. The tank is strapped in front of my fifth wheel hitch. If my camper tank get low, I just hook up my electrical plug and water hose and refill my camper tank. My particular pump is not the fastest but it will empty the tank fast enough for me. I also have 4 of the green 6 gallon jugs that I used to use that I can now just pout into my 25 gallon tank if necessary

RE: Converter replacement

Keep in mind that while your might not generator will not get above idle with the WFCO, putting in one of these better converters will cause your generator to speed up a little for a while, or at least that is my case with my Boondocker 55, 4 batteries and 2000w generator.

RE: Cell Boosting Kits Sold on Ebay

I have a WeBoost on my house and a cheap ebay unit on my shop. I can not really tell much difference other than Weboost will work with any carrier. Most of the cheap ones on ebay are band/frequency specific so you will need to know what band your carrier uses. That probably causes a lot of the returned packages

RE: Using a flag pole to hold cell antenna?

I use 2 sections of 1" pvc conduit cut just short enough to fit in the pass through area. I stick them together and lash it to the rear ladder. It may not be the best but works for me

RE: Have You Installed Your Own Slide Topper?

When my previous trailer was totaled by the insurance company, I pulled off the slide toppers and put them on my current trailer. I had to shorten the tube and awning a little since this is a smaller slide but it was not a big deal

RE: It’s the little things! Gravel Pad for my TT!!

Mice are not as happy about running across a gravel parking area as they are grass so it will help keep the mice out of the camper too

RE: Reliable Walkie Talkie?

I have 4 Cobra microtalk CXT395. I have upgraded the rechargeable batteries but mine last a LONG time. None of them have the range they advertise but work fine for my use.

RE: Cell phone signal Booster ?

I have a WEBoost house unit on my home which does a great job but when I needed something for my shop, I decided to gamble on one of the boosters on ebay for 10% of a WEBoost price. I found it to work very well also but you do need to choose the correct band for your carrier

RE: B&W Companion

I have had mine since 2007 and I believe I have replaced the u bolts twice. I call them up and they send me a set for free

RE: Pinbox moves?

Where should the measurement be taken? I have an extended pinbox so the closer to the end of the pinbox, the more pronounced the flex

Giles Countyl, Virginia

Has anyone ever stayed at Gentry's Landing Campground on the New River? It has mostly permanent sites but does have some regular sites but there are not many reviews anywhere. It looks like it could be a great kayaking base camp.

RE: 5G cell phones, need to purchase?

What is this 4G of which you speak? At my home, sometimes is is still 1X and 3G on a good day. I would be really happy if I had consistent 4G. Not sure when 5G will ever make it to the rural areas
