RE: GM 6.6 gas

artie2908, that's the exact info I was looking for. With 10k more for a diesel and diesel being $.30 more a gallon I'm starting to think like you... just not worth it. My trailer tips the scale just under 10k pounds. so my tow mileage might not be as good as yours. Thanks again for your info, be safe out there.

GM 6.6 gas

Who's towing what with the new 6.6 gas from GM. How does it do in mountains, how much weight are you pulling, what kind of mileage towing and empty. You all have the real answers, I thank you for your input.

RE: Is there an online listing for Army Corp of Engineers parks?

Donna, I use the book with the computer to get info on parks. I also try to read the reviews on the park I'm interested in because in some parks not all campsites have FHU and the folks that stay there before me know which are which. It takes some getting used to, but once you figure it out, it's not bad. Good luck and happy camping. Poorboy

TV tire life

I'm sure its been talked about in the past, but I can't find it. I have Good Year tires on my p/u with only 30k miles and lots of tread left, but they are original tires. The sidewalls are clean no cracks or scuffs. Can they last longer or do I need to replace them. I replaced the tires on the TT every 5 years, the last time I used GY endurance. I was thinking about Michelin LTX for the P/U, what do you all use. Thanks in advance for your help.

RE: Loooow Inventory

Well, I guess it's like the rv's right now. Ok to sell, but not to buy.

Loooow Inventory

Wow, the dealers in my area have the lowest inventory I have ever seen, and I'm a retired car hauler. I know there is a problem with chips, but right now each dealer may have only 1 or 2 3/4 ton or 1 ton trucks in stock. The bulk of the dealers lot is empty. Is it like this everywhere, just wondering.

RE: TT Floorplan with recliners on back

check out the Jayco Eagle HT 274CKDS. I have been looking at that one, but not happy with most of the 21 foot awning being taken up with the curb side slide out. I wish they would do 2 awnings like they did on the Jayco Eagle 5th wheel 321 RSTS. Happy hunting.

RE: Chevrolet exits all ICE production by 2035

RE: Tire Replacement Question

you could order tires online from tire rack, have the sent to your house and, like the others have said, take 2 off and have them mounted and balanced. and then the other 2. i got my gy endurance at a truck tire place that also services cars. they had plenty of room.

RE: RV furniture by LCI

I'm thinking I would look at Lazy-Boy.

RE: Looking for reliable travel trailer

I would find out your tow veh. limits, subtract about 20 percent and then go to RV shows and see what suits your fancy.

RE: Jayco or Grand Design

since GD is part of winnebago, have you looked at winnebago TT? just food for thought.

RE: Help me plan my trip please! RI, DE and MD

can't help you with RI, but Delaware I would say Indian River Inlet at Delaware Seashore State Park. campground is a little nicer and newer on the north side of the bridge. As for Maryland, I'd go a little further south to Chincoteague, Va. to Toms Cove. I have 2 younger brothers each have their own tt and families, and we use these parks every year. Toms cove does not take plastic. they will make reservations and take a check. have fun.
