RE: Limit switch trips on Atwood furnace

Thanks! The circuit breaker wasn’t tripping until after I replaced the blower motor. It was supposed to be an alternate for the old one. I can short around the circuit breaker, but was hesitant to do so. DO NOT SHORT AROUND THE CIRCUIT BREAKER you could take out the circuit board..have you checked the new motor for resistence? it could need more amps. to turn faster for more air volume. just guessing without being there.

RE: What do I need to start this?

Thank you, pushtoy 2. So, I cannot just hook up the "house battery" to the engine, and drive the vehicle? Good to know. Now, I just need to know if the other items are repairable. Or, is this something I need to scrap?yes you can take the house battery and use for the motor if it will fit some house battery are bigger.. I couldn't open your links

RE: Class C rear end sag and banging!

Thanks for all the quick replies! I ran the air bags at about 80 lbs - this typically raises my coach only about 1 1'2" - maybe 2"... My shocks are Bilsteins - I installed them around 2011, 2012 and about 30k miles ago. I have called 3 different online places, the last being Deaver (thanks bear). They were very helpful and to confirm Drew, they said that it's hard to just look at the springs and see a problem and that most likely the problems with these springs are the bushings! They said from new they have little "curve" to them... He actually suggested adding a leaf - they have a kit specific to my application. Replace the bushings if needed, but he said they frequently don't because they're ok. The factory tapered 3-leaf spring is rated at 3450 lbs, so it's likely the coach has always been 'under springed'... I'm strongly considering this route. I would like to find some replacement rear frame rubber bump stops - mine have clearly taken some punishment. But, I'm having trouble finding these - my Ford dealers around are pretty much a waste when it comes to parts for this old coach.a company called sumo makes heavy duty bump stops

RE: Replace GENERAC generator in a Gulfstream

I have a 2001 Gulf Stream with a Generac 55G generator that has an obsolete carburetor for the Briggs & Stratton engine. All I've been able to find is a new expensive retro fit replacement for it. Has anyone said to hell with it and just replaced the whole system with a different generator type or anything like that? Please let me know if there are any common sense or innovative mad scientist solutions out there? too bad your so far away I would rebuild the carb. for you
