RE: Why not jack trailer under the spring plates?

I find the frame easier to access than what is behind a wheel.

RE: WFCO WF-8955 amps in absorption mode

you could certainly measure the amps and will likely find that it varies from near zero on up mainly based on the battery's condition.

RE: Barbecue hookup

Camco has a valve replacement that gets rid of the regulator, certainly not universal https://www.camco.net/lp-gas-accessories-3/low-pressure-valve-kit-3-8-sae-x-12-000-btu-quick-connect-58269

RE: A few more questions about solar panels...

I don't believe I have any way of forcing this controller into BULK mode...it does that part automatically. And I don't have any little lights...just an LCD readout. Which exact Voyager do you have? Is it the waterproof one or ?

RE: A few more questions about solar panels...

the little lights on the controller indicate when the controller is in BULK mode. Bulk mode is the only mode where the panels full power goes to the battery. The panels should operate at approx battery voltage during BULK mode. As the battery voltage rises, panel operating voltage will rise to match that of the battery. Other modes, power is limited to maintain a constant voltage. The panel is turned on/off to keep the voltage at a certain set point. So the controller needs to be in BULK mode for your test!

RE: Gray Tank Smell (Seriously annoying)

What is the source of the water from the faucet? Cabin with well water has rotten egg smelling water, anaerobic bacteria grow in the pressure tank.

RE: Solar panel ratings

'one sun' is 1000 W/m2 this 2013 graph of a seemingly clear blue sky day, may 31, from milford utah, note the peak is over 1000. https://i.imgur.com/2LnrNbol.jpg Solar irradiance - wiki - Irradiance on Earth's surface "Average annual solar radiation arriving at the top of the Earth's atmosphere is roughly 1361 W/m2. The Sun's rays are attenuated as they pass through the atmosphere, leaving maximum normal surface irradiance at approximately 1000 W/m2 at sea level on a clear day. When 1361 W/m2 is arriving above the atmosphere (when the sun is at the zenith in a cloudless sky), direct sun is about 1050 W/m2, and global radiation on a horizontal surface at ground level is about 1120 W/m2. The latter figure includes radiation scattered or reemitted by the atmosphere and surroundings. The actual figure varies with the Sun's angle and atmospheric circumstances. Ignoring clouds, the daily average insolation for the Earth is approximately 6 kWh/m2 = 21.6 MJ/m2."

RE: Propane won't flow? Maybe this....

excess flow is controlled by a little ball that moves to limit flow in case of a hose break. The OPD has a spring loaded valve that needs to be depressed by the POL or ACME to allow flow. A melt-able piece in the ACME melts during a fire and causes the spring to totally shut the valve, not limit it as does the excess flow. Container pressure (and spring) keeps the valve closed with nothing depressing it, opening the OPD valve with nothing connected pressurizes the small space between the main valve and this spring loaded mating surface for the POL/ACME. Shutting the main valve leave pressure on the spring loaded mating surface and may require extra force to open when attaching an ACME/POL.
