Anyone know when Port Saint Joe State Park will open again?

Title says it all. That was one of our favorite beachfront campgrounds in the US. I'm guessing without direct road access to the park nothing has been done in the last year and half ?? Ron W.

RE: Has anyone negotiated a buy back from Keystone?

Op back, I agree with never hire a lawyer for a case like this, it will always get you less in the end. Even though I had a dozens of problems with this camper whenever I have spoken to customer service I have been treated fairly. Sometimes I didn't get all I wanted but they made the attempt to square things away. And I'm sure, in the end I will get a fair shake, I hope ?? Ron W.

RE: Has anyone negotiated a buy back from Keystone?

They will want to replace it. I had a 2008 copper canyon had serious problems talked with them in a calm way. End result was they replaced it with a 2011 cougar. They had it delivered to me in SC batteries full propane tanks had dealer check it out before delivery. no cost to me at all. Hopefully we will have the same outcome as you did. I too was always respectful when talking with dealer and Keystones warranty people, never worth getting aggrivated, they didn't build it! Now, had I been in touch with the line workers that did build the unit I would have a few choice things to say to them ?? We should know more in a day or two. Ron W.

RE: Has anyone negotiated a buy back from Keystone?

Op back, we're not "locked" into a Keystone Cougar but we did have a 2007 Cougar (similar size and floorplan) and it was trouble free for 10 years. Go figure..? From what I'm reading it's still a crapshoot with most RV products, you're taking a chance with them all. Except the higher price models and they are usually are too heavy for my truck. Ron W.

RE: Has anyone negotiated a buy back from Keystone?

Op back, I'm thinking they will try and give me the NADA price for my 2018. Certainly not enough to cover the same model at 2020 price? I believe we paid 32k back in 2017. Now they will say I received two years use, of course the real use we got was more like 130 nights of camping. The unit spent more nights in the service lot ! Ron W.

Has anyone negotiated a buy back from Keystone?

Our problematic 2018 Cougar is going to be bought back by Keystone and I'm wondering what the procedure is for this. My local service rep isn't really sure on the process with a Keystone product. Is there much negotiating on value or do they go strictly by NADA pricing? Thanks Ron W.

RE: Rv back to Keystone for repair, anyone have experience?

I was thinking the same thing, let them tow the unit to the factory and I would pick it up. Ron W.

Rv back to Keystone for repair, anyone have experience?

It looks like my Cougar will have to go back to Keystone for major repairs on the floor and other issues. Has anyone had any experience with this procedure or know someone that has? I'm just curious what to expect from Keystone as far as time it took and where you satisfied with the work? Also, would you recommend picking it up yourself or let them transport it for you back to the dealer. Thanks Ron W.

RE: How to cancel a reservation with ReserveAmerica.

Op back, I swear when I looked at the RA web page a few weeks ago when I realized I'd be cancelling my trip I did not see the "Details" option next to my list of reservations... Sure enough, now after reading these posts I see that option ! It took me less than 2 minutes to delete my upcoming reservations I guess my old 72 year old eyes are playing tricks with me. Thanks for all the replies. Ron W.

RE: How to cancel a reservation with ReserveAmerica.

Op back, thanks for the info. I didn't realize I had to contact the state reservation office rather than doing it through RA?? Doesn't make much sense. Thanks Ron W.

How to cancel a reservation with ReserveAmerica.

My camper has some serious problems so our multi state camping trip for the month of May is cancelled. I looked on the ReserveAmerica site and couldn't figure out how to cancel these reservations nor could I see a phone number to speak to a live representative. Have they changed the web site? It looks different. Ron W.
