RE: Water Leak - Storage compartment

Thanks for your reply, Today I managed to remove a panel in the storage area where the water was collecting and consequently leaking from that. With the panel off, it revealed a portion of the slide operation IE: motor, rail and sprocket system. The water appears to be coming from higher up than the slide assembly. I'm in the rain belt (SW British Columbia) just north of Seattle so will put a garden hose on room on the first dry day to see if water is coming in from the roof area. I had tried that before but no water appeared. I then sprayed against the slide (below the window) and got some water. I then re sealed that bottom part of the slide by the molding but that wasn't the fix. ANY additional suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Water Leak - Storage compartment

We have 2010 FourWinds Chateau 29BG with the 3 slides. On the driver's side exterior there is an outside storage compartment under the slide. After a rain or washing, and the slide is closed, there is water leaking into this fiberglass compartment. This compartment is next to the generator compartment. In the storage compartment, there is a wire loom coming down from the top of the compartment and goes to a box which goes into the generator. The water is seen leaking down the wire loom. It appears the source of the leak is above the wire loom. I ran water on the roof for awhile and didn't notice any leaking down through the loom but when I sprayed water along the slide, below the window area, I noticed water dripping from the loom. I have removed the existing weathered sealant at the bottom of the slide where the horizontal slide molding is and replaced it with new sealant. After last nights rain, I still have a water leak although not as much as before. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

RE: Water Leak - Storage compartment

the storage compartment is not part of the slide but part of the Ford Chassis. the storage compartment does not slide.

RE: Shower door rollers

FOUND the exact shower door roller assembly. They can be ordered from swisco.com which is out of New Jersey. The item is: Shower Door Roller Assembly, round doot code: 10-071 price is $12.75 each plus shipping. USA postal is %5.95 and Fed Ex was around $62. In case anyone else is looking for this shower roller.

RE: Removing TV

Had another look at the steel frame behind the TV and it looks like I may be able to remove 3 screws hold the frame to the bottom of the cabinet. If this works it assume the TV along with the frame would then fall out forward. Of course it would be unplugged first and a second person standing in front of the TV to hold it.

RE: Removing TV

I will be trying to unscrew the tv from the steel frame as I can feel the 4 of them. With a bright light and a mirror, it may work. When all else fails, I will try calling Thor. Thanks

RE: Shower door rollers

I have sent an email to Thor to see if they can help. Saw some rollers on Ebay but not identical.

RE: Removing TV

tried pulling it straight out and no luck. I wonder if I have to get a screw driver into the rear of the tv mount and unscrew it. Its doesn't look easy but with a mirror perhaps I can try. there is an access to the center section of the entertainment center from the left cabinet so will try that if nothing else surfaces.

Shower door rollers

Our shower has the curved door panels that have upper rollers with dual plastic wheels. One of the wheels has broken and during ride, the roller popped out of the track. Aside from finding a new dual wheel roller, Do I need to remove the top rail to re-install the roller. Thanks

Removing TV

Just bought a 2010 Chateau Citation 29BG B+ with the front entertainment center. There is 32" Jensen TV that is mounted flush to the cabinet with no moldings around it. How do you remove the TV? I tried to lift it up hoping there was a spring or clip that would release but none. There is a small opening from the side cabinet looking into the center one where the TV is mounted and I can see the steel frame. Is this TV screwed onto the frame and you need to use mirrors or whatever to try and unscrew it? thanks for any info

Tire Cover to snug?

If you buy the tire covers for the 26-29" tire, will these be too snug on the 29" tire? I was thinking of getting the next size 29-32" Any suggestions or comments? thanks

Tire Cover to snug?

Just purchased a 2010 Chateau Citation B+ on the E4500 chassis with new 225x75Rx16 tires. These tires stand 29" and I see tire covers in one group are 26-29". Has anyone found that 29" tire covers on a 29" tire are snug and perhaps should go to the 29" to 32" cover so it fits easier? Thanks
