RE: AT&T no more Wireless Home Phone
We gave up on "Home Phones" years ago. And so did the majority of households. It's 100% cell phones for us. Works great, saves money. Have never looked back...
RE: LOCAST Receives Unfavorable Court Rulling
All of those network TV Shows are NOT free. The local stations, cable companies, and re-broadcasters have to pay them a fee. How else can they afford to pay the actors hundreds of thousands of dollars per episode? (sarcasm) Locast wasn't paying.
RE: Fuel leaking from within the generator
Gravity feed or not doesn't matter. When parked on a angle. If the carb float is sunk or needle and seat are stuck open the fuel can syphon right out of the tank. Open up the generator remove the carb and re build it. Or take it to someone who can.
RE: SEMI cameras
Aware divers know how long and wide their vehicles are. Unfortunately many, many drivers don't. These are the ones who have to leave 20 ft between themselves and the vehicle in front of them at every stop. No need for a camera for a good driver....
RE: Cooling fans for external coils.
That's a great idea. I have a similar setup in my slide mounted fridge flue in our MH. Just keep in mind that you can't use your infrared thermometer gun to measure air temperature. Air is not dense enough, you end up getting the temperature of the hard surface behind where your pointing.
RE: Does closing most A/C vents create back-pressure?
The reduced airflow over the evaporator can cause ice to form, and lead to a possible freeze up which is not good for the compressor. So you'd have to try it out and see if that happens. As far as the blower fan is concerned that offers no issue. Airflow CFM is directly proportional to current draw. Less airflow = less fan current.
