RE: Solitude leaning to one side.

Don't own our 369 anymore, got rid of it a couple mths ago, but changed the springs from 3500 to 4000 lbs. Also changed out the equalizer to Dexter and installed disk brakes.

RE: Suggestions

We just went from a 40' fifth wheel and a 2019 Ram dually with the 6.7 HO Cummins to a 2022 Renegade Valencia 38RW. Let just say we're on a new learning curve. While the Renegade is nice it doesn't have the room or storage of the 5er. It's on a Freightliner S2 frame with the industrial Cummins 6.7 with the Allison transmission. It's a bit underpowered for the 33000lb rig. @ 360hp and 800 lb. ft. torque.

RE: Schwintech slide system

Six years and many many miles, open and closed hundreds of times. Never had a lick of problems. Lubed as required and run all the way in, all the way out holding button about 5 seconds after it stops.

RE: rt 64 in new mexico

From Angel Fire to Taos is a little narrow and curvy but we did fine with a dually and 40' fifth wheel. Take your time and enjoy

RE: Question for Pullrite Superglide owners

There is an adjustment, go on the web and get the manual for your hitch. There are also several lube points on your hitch

RE: brake shoes

No that's not normal. I have a 40' fifthwheel and have over 40,000 cross country mls on it and pads still looked good. I just changed over to disk brakes. I would say you're dragging your brakes or you have too much brake in you brake adjustment in your truck if they wore out that quick

Fuel Availability

We're leaving Sunday from south Louisiana heading to Maine and parts in between. Was wonder if anyone is having problems finding diesel while on the road. Not worried about prices, it is what it is. Thanks

RE: Discoverer AT3 XLT

Just put on Michelin Agilis CrossClimate on my 2019 Ram dually. Fixing to hit the road for about a 10,000 mile trip. Guess we'll see how they hold up.

RE: Grand Junction Colorado Traveling North on CO-139

We drove it last year pulling a 40' fifth wheel. Wasn't a bad pull over the pass if you are comfortable with mountain driving. The road surface between the pass and Rangely was really bad. Had to slow down to 45 in the flats, was worried about breaking trailer suspension.

RE: Beartooth pass

Been on it a few time and have seen small campers and C's but not big rig friendly. If your pulling a GD 369, no way. I think there is a length limit.

RE: Help with fuel transfer valve

You can purchase a kit with a ball valve in it that stops the fuel when tank is full. I have one on my 2019 Ram and it works great, no problems so far. Also have a manual valve at the tank should there be a problem. linky Mod Edit: Created clickable link. RE: New to 5th wheel, have questions !!

Do yourself a favor and go with a 3/4 ton. More than you may need but the comfort in pulling is priceless.

RE: Yellowstone second thoughts.

We were there last year at about that time. Entering the park at daylight there was no line at the gate. As the morning went on the park started to get crowded and the animal jam were getting worst. We left the park around noon and the line going in were very long. Most people are late risers so adjust your time in the park accordingly. We spent several days there getting in early and out early.
