RE: Disney world in July

Hi everyone. Thanks for the reply’s. We will be down there for a week. 2 days of parks. Off couple days then two more parks. As far as why July.....lol there seems to be such a narrow window between June church camps and august band camps. We would love to go over spring break but we made other plans. We have a new to us 2007 Georgetown 37 ft. Hoping to take few trips beforehand to shake things out. We sold truck and fifth wheel for mh and Jeep. It’s funny about the post where it was hotter at home. Few years ago we went to Hilton head first week in July and it was beautiful. Was way hotter in Ohio that week.

Disney world in July

Holy heat wave I think wife and kids want to go to Disney this July. So is ft wilderness worth it? Any other campgrounds? Worth it to drag the Jeep behind motorhome? I’ve only been to magic kingdom one time. This time would be 4 day package. What everyone thoughts?

Furnace doesn’t work

I should say furnace works if I jump the two thermostat wires. So we bought a 2007 Georgetown 37 xl and on the way home we tried to run the furnace. Swear they ran it for our demo but maybe not. When I got home I got to the wiring, jumped it and it started. I checked for voltage at the thermostat and nothing had voltage. Any thoughts? It’s a suburban 42.

RE: Planning a cross country trip - questions

Last summer went from Ohio to glacier park. Just used rv Parky app and stayed at some free spots and stayed at some pay spots. Wasn’t a holiday so had no trouble. Even glacier had fair amount of vacancies. Lol just be flexible. There will be things come up like mosquitos in a Corp of engineer campground in Minnesota wher they were so bad we had to leave! Just have fun.

RE: Anyone using a 2006 sequoia as a toad?

Bummer. Was hoping with transfer case the Remco pump wouldn’t be necessary.

Anyone using a 2006 sequoia as a toad?

I understand Toyota says no but they sell base plates and few other people report success towing that generation of sequoias.

RE: Champion 3150 inverter generator sound/noise?

I’ve got a champion and I’m feeling a little buyers remorse too. With a load it’s loud but it’s still much quieter than a non inverter. I might play around with blankets or a box to absorb the noise but I don’t want the extra heat to destroy it.

RE: Help!!! Frame broke

File the insurance claim and let your insurance company go after trailer manufacturer and Lippert through the subrogation process.

RE: Rubber roof repair

I tore roof on a tree and insurance paid for new roof minus deductible. Thank goodness because it was a 6000 dollar job.

nothing seems to be open in pa and Ohio

we live in north east Ohio. We were looking at spending 3 or 4 nights somewhere about 2 to 3 hours away. Looked at Erie pa, Pittsburgh, and Cincinnati areas. Nothing seems to be open or returning calls or emails. I guess since there are so many of us the summertime is difficult. any ideas for something new?

RE: Oh shoot. The toilet foot pedal fell off.

The 310 is amazing!!! It’s so nice I’m almost glad the handle fell off. The only real downside was I couldn’t spend as much time in UP of mich as I wanted since I needed to get to CW before they closed.

RE: Oh shoot. The toilet foot pedal fell off.

I stopped at camping world and bought a domestic 310. When I talked to the parts guy he said parts were 80$ and pain to reassemble or 170$ on sale for the 310. So that’s what I’m gonna do this evening.
