Outback 80-Flexmax Charge Controller-HELP

As you can imagine, we've got solar on the roof of our MH. Been installed for a couple of years. All has worked well....UNTILL now. Checked the charger yesterday just to give it a "peak-see". And what I saw was NOTHING. LED display was dark. No readout. Breaker's were still in the ON position so I turned them off and then back ON. Nothing. It's extremely windy here in Tucson today so I doubt I'll be on the roof to check wiring connection points. Perhaps later I can check battery connection points but this would probably be a mute point because the battery connection points are "after the fact" from the charge controller. Quick start guide doesn't offer much help. So I turn to you gurus of Solar Technology. Thank you all in advance for your suggestions.

RE: DIY-who's tackled Foggy Glass repair?

So......where does one purchase the "Seal-Spacer" material. I've already sourced a company for the "flange" of the metal frame. All suggestions are appreciated. Tks.

Route 5 from Utica NY to Green Lakes SP?

Traveling in a MH pulling a Toad. What is HYW 5 like between the above two cities. Hopefully you're going to tell me it's a good-2 lane road where you can drive a constant 50 mph. (except going thru towns) Thanks to all who respond.

Traveling from Acadia NP to Bangor to White Mnts

Currently in Maine down around Portland. Heading to Acadia in a few days. We'll see the sights there and then leave. I've got a good 2 weeks to KILL before I need to be back in Syracuse, NY. Ok Guys, load my plate with "things to see and do". Also, I'm not opposed to "Of Grid Camping-dispersed camping, etc." Just help a guy out. Thanks to those who reply.

DIY-who's tackled Foggy Glass repair?

I've watched several YouTube video's and it seems pretty straight forward...…..well...…..once you get the window out of the rough opening on the RV. I'm willing to give it a try, but, looking for suggestions to prevent failure. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Albany NY on Hwy 9-Any LOW BRIDGE issues?

Would like to take HWY 9 out of Albany NY on over to Portsmouth, NH. However, we've been in Vermont before and did we ever get a BIG surprise. 10'6" so you know what we had to do. Taking route 9 because we believe the scenery will be pretty and we have all kinds of time so no need for the Interstate and all the Hords of traffic. But, will I encounter any low bridges on Hwy 9? Thank you to those who respond.

Heading to Maine-Need Suggestions

Starting in Portsmouth then up the coast on Hwy 1 right along the coast. Would like to stop along the way to see everything you might suggest. Have all kinds of time. End point would be just North of Acadia NP. Thanks to all who reply.

RE: Syracuse NY to Portsmouth NH then up the coast of Maine

So, Guys. What about this idea. At Albany (form Syracuse) taking Highway 9 over to Concord and then the 202 over to Portsmouth? IT may not be the FASTEST way, but again, tolls don't concern me and I've got all kinds of TIME. I'd also bet the country side would me more interesting vs. the interstate. Please share your thoughts. Tks

Syracuse NY to Portsmouth NH then up the coast of Maine

Heading out of Syracuse NY to Portsmouth, NH. and I'm looking for the quickest way to Portsmouth. Not concerned about tolls. From Portsmouth heading up the coast i.e. York-Wells-Kennebunkport eventually to Bar Harbor. Would like to travel right along the coast stopping along the way at different "chicken Lobsters" restaurant's for lunch. Any and all suggestions for "Places to see, things to do" feel free to suggest. Thanks to all in advance.

How to wire 6-6V batteries-Oh yes, I'm still here

Thanks to all that have responded to my query. So I'll let it be known, I'M NOT GOOD WITH 12V WIRING. Series vs. Parrallel-- Daisy chain, those words don't mean a whole lot to me. I've looked at all of the diagrams and I DO understand the drawings and how to wire them. SO HERE'S THE TWIST in my situation. The diagrams show 1 (one) black (negative) wire coming in to the set (6) batteries and 1 (one) red (positive) coming in. MY SITUATION is I have 2 (two) Black (negative) wires coming in to my (current) 4-6volt AGM's and 2 (two) Red (positive) wires coming it to my bank. I'd go on from there trying to explain how I connected the additional 2-6v AGM's but I'd probably just confuse everyone. So, I can attach a picture of the current wiring diagram and how I attempted to connect the additional 2 BUT SOMEONE IS GOING TO HAVE TO INSTRUCT ME ON HOW TO ATTACH A PICTURE. HELP!

How to wire 6- 6volt batteries-Help

As the subject matter states, I'm in need of a wiring diagram for wiring 6-6volt house batteries. Currently, I have 4-6volt batteries installed to make 12 volts. I've purchased 6-6volt batteries (AGM) to make 12 volts. The additional 2 more 6volt batteries will give me more capacity when we "Off Grid". To whom may respond, I can PM you with a picture as to how the 4-6volt batteries are currently wired. Thank you for your help/suggestions in advance. Stephen

Syracuse NY to Acadia National Park

Need some suggestions. From Syracuse we'll get ourselves over to the Eastern seaboard say starting around Hampton or Portsmouth. Then we'll travel up the 103 to the 1 to the 9 thru Kennbunkport and then on up eventually to Acadia Nat Park. Any and all recommendations as far as Routing an Attractions are greatly appreciated. We're really looking forward to finding some local lobster places where we can stop and get a "chicken Lobster" for lunch. Traveling in a Motor Home. Thanks to all who respond in advance. Oh, traveling after school starts.

Vancouver BC

Would appreciate a park suggestion that has a nice view of the river or a scenic overlook. Trying to surprise the DW. (get my drift) All suggestions are appreciated in advance. Now for me, a 1/2 day of Salmon fishing would be great. Late Fathers Day present. Thanks to all.
