RE: New sink in 2016 AF811SB

Thanks all. Looking forward to using more if these fires would stop burning down my favorite places.

RE: agm charging capability in 2016 Af 811SB?

Thank you all. I’m not near shore power and do not have access to jump from truck. It’s in storage. Sounds like I’ll be fine so I’ll buy the batteries and replace. Thanks.

New sink in 2016 AF811SB

Thought I'd share a sink upgrade for this model in case you have one and cannot stand the terrible dual bowl plastic sink. Pretty straight forward job as the sink I found exactly and very tightly fits the existing cutout. It is a very nice upgrade. Its deep enough to have dishes in it and put a cutting board or drying rack across it at the same time. Impossible in the old sink. Without the mega oversized plastic walls it has much more usable volume. It is also flush with countertop vs the plastic which stick up and gets in the way. SINK Notes: 1. You have to grind off the upper right corner of sink around an inch so it clears the wall. 2. To drill the new faucet hole the countertop you lose a bit of structure as you drill through the brace. I reinforced with 1x2 being the original then made a small strap across the hole screwed into he new brace. Then drilled faucet hole. 3. Upper drawer to right of range hits sink. Very easy to reduce drawer box height an inch or so to clear and doesn't affect functionality or looks at all. 4. Existing plumbing left in place, but removed and replaced from p trap to sink and replaced with a smooth interior walled flexible one from Home Depot. That was a tight fit but it goes. You can see it in the photo. 5. Check the mounting points of your jack controller. I happened to be replacing mine at the same time, so I made sure it was mounted an inch lower so I could access the screws with the sink in. Easily moved with four screws in seconds. 6. OEM faucet fits, but its hard getting your hands up there to tighten. https://i.imgur.com/dS0o9Hzl.png "border=0" https://i.imgur.com/m3zZPvb.pngClick For Full-Size Image. https://i.imgur.com/1geRBUHl.jpg "border=0" https://i.imgur.com/m3zZPvb.pngClick For Full-Size Image. https://i.imgur.com/1bwmZvjl.jpg "border=0" https://i.imgur.com/m3zZPvb.pngClick For Full-Size Image.

agm charging capability in 2016 Af 811SB?

My batteries are dead and I cant move the slide to check what charging system I have. I want to replace the lead acid with AGM but need to be sure I can charge them before buying. I almost positive this year/model uses a progressive dynamics PD9200 which can do AGM. Can anyone confirm if this is the right charger in the 2016 AF 811SB and if that year also had the AGM charging capability? https://www.progressivedyn.com/pd9200-converter/ THANKS!

RE: One jack not functioning AF811

Finally resolved this. Sent controller back to Reico which was determined defective. $500 later it’s back working. Sure it’s 5 years old not basically it used. Should have lasted longer in my opinion. Thank you to all for your suggestions on troubleshooting.

RE: One jack not functioning AF811

That is probably my next move, to call reico. I’m hoping it can be repaired cheaper than $500 for a new one.

RE: One jack not functioning AF811

I changed battery twice, checked all fuses again. Tried red and black remotes plugged into remote plug and directly to controller. Also made sure I was on the right mode and not trying to move the awning. I also tried another red remote direct wired. Nothing seems to work. I did get one jack to move once briefly. I did notice that previously I would get the LED lights for each jack to come on red or green....even though nothing was moving. Now those LEDs do not ever come on. Any last things to try before I blow $500 on a new controller?

RE: One jack not functioning AF811

I think it was changed last year. I’ll give it a go…

RE: One jack not functioning AF811

Just tried to plug wires controller direct to control box and it worked. Then tried wireless. Nothing. Then plugged wires into remote location and all fine again. Ugg. Don’t know what’s going on. Maybe I’ll change the codes and see if wireless comes back

RE: One jack not functioning AF811

Thanks lol for the tips. Man access to this thing to get screws off terminal block is terrible. I was able to check a whole bunch of stuff and finally determine a failed fuse on one jack. In swear I checked that first but I guess not. Now I have a new issue. I was lowering all four and all was good. Did some leveling and now none of the jacks work. Control box has 12vdc and active light comes on. All fuses on entire control box and in main fuse box all good. Killed power and reset several times. Tried wired and wireless remote . Lights on remote control come on. No lights for the jacks come on on the main control box when pressing remote buttons. Any idea what to check next? It kind of acts like the remote doesn’t work. Is there a way to manually activate without the remote to see if it’s the remote or something else? Maybe there is another fuse if I take the cover off the control box?

RE: One jack not functioning AF811

I’m not aware of a button inside. I did try the red remote connected via wire with same result.

RE: One jack not functioning AF811

So you basically made left rear jack become right rear by switching wire to prove jack is not bad and thus control board is? Sounds easy I’ll give it a try. I do hear relay clicking when trying to lift. Also I feel like wire less has been really spotty past year. Maybe that’s strike two for the controller?

One jack not functioning AF811

Happy camping season! Pulled camper out today. One jack was struggling a bit then it stopped working. Fuse is still good. Batteries are older and had been on charger for Many days prior. What is proper diagnostic procedure with only one acting up? I would not think battery but as I said they are getting long in the tooth. Maybe high resistance cable or connector combined with older batteries? Fuse good. Was thinking to fire up generator and try again. I think this should rule out batteries if it still doesn’t work, but not not positive. What else to try/check? Thanks I’m advance.
