RE: 2+ weeks into Artic Fox 27-5L

Yes straight on but more important reclining seats are will lean back just like you home chair reclines. Some even have heat and massage built in them.

RE: 2+ weeks into Artic Fox 27-5L

Phill are you pulling with a 3500 or a 2500. I have both and we are considering buying a 27-5. Another question the seating facing the tv are they theater style and if not are they a option thanks tim.

Used class a

So I have been researching class a dps and I am thinking more about a early 2000 to mid 2000 year models. I want around a 36 footer with independent front end. I don't like where most homes have the tv, up front would hurt my wife and my necks. I want one with a diesel motor with plenty of hp. Also want want one with a fiberglass roof. Solar would be nice we boondock mostly. Any one care comment on a model and brand. With keeping my budget price around 59000$ anyone hav any suggestions thanks. I have been looking at the Winnebagojourney 36 footer.

RE: Used class a ?

Thanks dg but I am thinking maybe I want one a little shorter. I have been looking at Winnebagos all day. I am just not sure what way I want to go. Keep the ideas coming.

Used class a ?

Ok the wife is retiring next summer. We travel now in a artic fox 990 slide in. We are getting older and need more comfort. I have been looking at several older used class a diesel pushers. We really want to keep our purchase price below 60000 $. I have found a pretty nice Dutch star 1999 model with 110000 miles on it. I just don't to have break downs on the road. Should I stay away from older mhs is it worth the risk. Thanks for your opinions.

Now I am confused can or can you not ride in the town of silverton?

RE: Avoid Silverton Colorado

This is very bad news. We have been coming up for years but i was scared this would happen. The outsiders have taken over co and want to impose there ways in all of us. But with that said I knew this would happen. People with utvs drive like they are in a hurry. We drive a utv and some riders are plain stupid or very rude with there riding. It wasn't that long ago that you couldn't ride to town to eat and shop. We usually stay on the other side of the mountain and take day rides over to silver ton guess we won't anymore, but I can see the day when we won't be able to ride anywhere. For example velocity basin north of silverton was torn up by some people from Texas I am told. They rode there atvs out in the tundra and ripped it up. I sure wished people would be considerate. Believe me the locals don't want you there and would use any reasons to ban riding.

RE: Opinions on af fox mountain 235rls and af grande ronde 27-5l

We are on our second 27-5L. The first was a 2000 that we had bought used, this one a 2018 that we bought new. I can not comment on the Fox Mountain, but everyone comments about how open and spacious our floorplan is for a short 5er. We like to boondock/drycamp whenever possible and the tank sizes, the amount of 12 volt and USB outlets sold us on our current 27-5L when we were looking at everything else. So how good does it do in hot weather, insulation wise.

RE: Jayco?

Ok we have been looking for a new 5th wheel that is small enough to pull a utility trailer behind with our sxs. So you will be pulling TWO TRAILERS ? You had better have a goo welder re-enforce the frame on that 5er ! Yes I will be pulling a small trailer would they put a receiver hitch if you couldn't? Yes the salesman said not to put dual pane tinted safety glass windows on it when we order said it just wasn't worth it. Salesman said this model had really good insulation. If not I really don't want one.

RE: Shortest 5th Wheel with King Bed Option

My Keystone Montana High Country 294RL is 34'0" and has a king bed. They also have the 280/281CK that 32'2" and I'm pretty sure you can get it with a king bed as it's the same exact bedroom/bathroom layout as my 294, it loses the length in the living space instead. We looked at this jayco today we really liked it and yes it has the king option. Only thing about the king option is you loose room on the non slide side.

Ok we have been looking for a new 5th wheel that is small enough to pull a utility trailer behind with our sxs. Looked at jayco today and liked the 28.5 rsts. Anyone have any comments about it. Anyone have any ideas on any others. Salesman said he wouldn't recommend double Pane windows. This looking and trying to decide will wear you out. Thanks for any help. .

Opinions on af fox mountain 235rls and af grande ronde 27-5l

We are looking at these two 5frs and wanting to stay around 30 ft long so we can pull a 10 foot utility trailer behind it with our side x side.. Soes anyone have either one of these that can comment on them. It appears that the grande ronde is much nicer and I am sure a bigger price tag, I know that it is a wide body. We have pondered over a toy hauler and have a af 990 slide in. The problem with a toy hauler is you need a trailer to get to the trail heads and you don't have one. That's what we like about our slide in it is easy to just pack up and move. But we are getting older and the wife will retire next year and we will be staying longer so we want more confront. I am not worrying about our tow vehicle I have a 3500 duramax and a 2500 duramax. So ant help would be appreciated thanks.
