RE: Host switching to front Nose Caps in 2021 units

Now if Host can ever learn to build the whole thing from molded fiberglass, they’ll start to have something. Says no one that ever wanted to live in a box with no slides! :)

RE: Host switching to front Nose Caps in 2021 units

I agree about the decals, not that they look inherently bad and a lot of them look cool, IMO. But they don't last. Couple colors of gel maybe or something to break up the whiteness. If no decals, a TC looks like weird cargo van. I couldn't agree more. The white on white is a little too much white. But hey, progress is progress! Thank you Host!! :C

RE: Seven Truck Camper Videos - Seattle RV Show 2020

If, you build it, you specify that it be built at FHA quality, you can get a regular mortgage. Last we checked it was about 15k more.

RE: Seven Truck Camper Videos - Seattle RV Show 2020

I BELIEVE the Yukon will be the one for us Bedlam. Curious as to wether Host will offer cabinets over the side-slide (small couch dinette) their NEW floorpan doesn't show one. And two, wether the aft slide will accommodate a drop down sleeper too?

RE: Mopeka Products

I think this is better: Dometic LPGC10 LP Gas Checker I went through two of them when I gave up and got the Trauma. The battery cage in the Dometic broke in both. Funny, mine is 2 years old and on the same battery. Works like new down to 19 degrees last Xmas vacation. :)

RE: Lance Umbilical Mod

Nice looking upgrade. I upgraded my system with Mega overkill charging leads I am 100% going to copy this! Excellent idea!

RE: Mopeka Products

I have the Trauma unit and its the bomb! I push the rubber spring tip to anywhere on the tank, it beeps red or green....if its Red, its out to that point...if its green, then its full to that point. Keep moving up if you wish. I mark an erasable blue tic at the filled-to spot (date it) and keep doing that each day for a few times...soon you KNOW your true use and the gizmo is superfluous. I used 2.5 iterations of that stupid Topeka ****...They parts either broke or fell apart and were "no longer supported". I was done 3 years into buying into that BETA program. I espouse to the keep it simple program.

RE: Batwing Water Leak

YES, I used some spray water resistant silicone and it fixed it. That was two years ago on the Oregon Coast...lots of rain. 2009 Lance 1191

RE: Host Mammoth Triple Dog Dare Challenge Report

HOST says more than 95% of the owners of the Mammoth use a HD 3500 to carry their camper. The newer trucks are 14,000 GVWR versions.

RE: Weight capacity for 2019 Ram 1500

I am looking for a truck camper to put on my 2019 Ram 1500 quad cab 5.7 hemi PU truck. I am getting conflicting payload capacities from 1,793 to 1,950 lbs. The truck camper weighs 1,280 lbs. Will this work? Anyone else use this truck with a similar weight of camper? Looking for help. Here is your no-bullshizzle list of weight ratings: https://www.ramtrucks.com/BodyBuilder/service/Image?imageId=MtQrP%2FFqLY5r%2Fest8MtGjGgHzAHGUTU0WB3rWuqSY7YmQ2vEhuBWBAvoEbjA%2Bc5q%0A
