Wider stance wheels

Greetings! My new coach has a wider gap between the wheels. I have it set up in the driveway with just the scissor jacks down and I can’t believe how stable it is. Does the wider spacing make the rig more stable when parked? And, I’m happy to report that we haven’t found any issues .......yet.........

RE: Outdoor Kitchens

Thanks for all the replies! I was concerned about external leaks, but after seeing the coach........... We ended up buying the Coachmen RV Freedom Express Ultra Lite 259FKDS. It’s a beautiful coach and seems to be VERY well made. Travel Safe! TD

RE: Black Water Accident

That's a pretty chitty situation. Reminds of the guy who thought all he had to do was get his drain pipe over the concrete at the dumping station and pull the valves. What a mess that made...........

RE: Outdoor Kitchens

I can't answer that specifically but will say the wife and I originally sought out a trailer with outside kitchen but also wanted two entry doors. We ended up with two entry doors minus the outside kitchen, couldn't find both. We have friends we camp with often with outside kitchen that have reported no issues. Thanks

Outdoor Kitchens

We are looking at a Coachmen Freedom Express. It has an outdoor kitchen and I’m Leary of another leak potential in my camper. Do you have an outdoor kitchen? Any leak problems? Thanks

RE: Mach III plus 13.5 ac fan running backwards?

The Intake is towards the Front. You said it COULD have been the problem Was it? I’d like to be able to confirm but my ceiling cover has intakes on the sides and air vents front and back (if I’m understanding what you mean by intakes). Looks exactly like this one. https://www.rvupgradestore.com/8430-6321-Deluxe-Chillgrille-Ceiling-Assembly-p/41-0008.htm?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIhYDelfyh6gIVCorICh3WGQwGEAQYAiABEgJCzvD_BwE

RE: Mach III plus 13.5 ac fan running backwards?

Ok now I know Coleman's Suck. but that's the CONDENSER side of things (Outside) where as most A/C's blow.. And I think I FINALLY figured out why but that is another thread. But inside is a squirrel cage blower or so I thought, you turn those puppies backwards they just don't blow they do not blow the wrong way. they just don't blow period. Sounds like you have a baffled baffle or someone installed something cattywompus Specifically.. the ceiling cover The air intake is normally toward the FRONT of the RV and the output to the back. if someone installed the inside cover and a baffle wrong... You get what you got. This could have been the problem. Last season, before I parked the TT, there was a leak around the AC. I took all of the plastic inside off to find it and reassembled. This year, When I found the unit to be running in “reverse“, I disassembled it again. When I put it all back together, it’s certainly possible I rotated the ceiling cover which could have been the problem the whole time............ Live and learn.

RE: Mach III plus 13.5 ac fan running backwards?

There is nothing to cause the motor to run in reverse if you have not touched the system. What you probably have is the DIVIDER Gasket/Plate that separates the Intake from the exhaust has probably fallen over and you are getting the air mixed. Do you have the inside Plenum plate where you remove the Filter and you can see the evaporator? If so, right below the Evap between the Bottom of the upper unit and the filter housing there should be a fiber/gasket type rectangular piece to separate the intake and exhaust. Look at Page 9 where it states Duct Divider. Doug http://old.rvcomfort.com/pdf_documents/1976342.pdf Looking up from inside the camper, nothing was loose or looked out of place.

RE: Coleman Mach III fan running backwards

Do a search for a recent post about this. You posted same question on 6/21. Yea, I couldn’t find it for some reason

RE: Mach III plus 13.5 ac fan running backwards?

I called my electrician brother and he was stumped As well. He asked me if all power had been disconnected while installing and after installing the capacitors (I replaced both). I disconnected all power including the battery and waited for an hour. I fired it back up and now it’s running correctly. Fluke? Maybe but, it was the suggestion from my brother that save me from buying more unnecessary parts. Thanks for the help here. TD

Coleman Mach III fan running backwards

Hello all, I parked my camper after the last outing and everything was working fine. Got it out of storage and turned the air on and it’s blowing through the filter vents instead sucking. I replaced both capacitors with no luck. Anyone else encounter this problem?

Mach III plus 13.5 ac fan running backwards?

Hello all, My first trip out this year, my 2 yo ac was blowing through the filters and sucking through the vents. I was told it was probably a bad motor starter so I replaced it. Still blowing backwards. Cools fine but won’t distribute through the ducts. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TD
