RE: 50 amp outlet tester

Me too! :) I plug in and let my PI EMS HW50C do all the checking before it allows power into the coach. It also will kick the coach offline if the power goes bad for some reason after connecting. Yes, it is expensive but it does the job and is a one time expense to protect everything electrical in your unit. Progressive Industries has some of the best support of any company in the USA. Oh, did I say it is guaranteed for life.

RE: Surge Guard Monitor

I mounted my Progressive Industries monitor on the side of the TV. When I mant to check on things it is right there, otherwise I don't even notice it. :)

RE: Spare tire holder ideas

I am on tne verge of ordering the BAL spare tire carrier to mount to the frame under the trailer. Just waiting for the weather to warm up a little, my old bones just don't like lying down on the cold damp ground. :)

RE: Bringing a generator with to a FHU campground?

We almost always stay at state parks and have electrical hookups, but I still carry a 3500,4000 watt ginny in case of power outages because my wife has trouble breathing when it is hot and humid. 4 or 5 times electricity was knocked out, once for most of the day and the ginny saved the day for us, I was able to run 1 a/c for DW instead of packing up and leaving or running the truck all day. :)

RE: Can U run top ac going down the road ??

We have done it when it was really hot so the 5er would not be so hot when we arrived at destination. :)

RE: Poor Wi FI at most RV parks

Choo choo man, what are you going to use? I have a couple of old Linksys routers that I had working as repeaters at one time, but cannot get to work anymore, something not set right. I need to spend some time trying to get them going again. I am building my own. Cheap and relatively easy.

RE: Password Manager Question

Does roboform fill out your username and password for you? I tried keepass and cannot get it to do that, so it is no help to me. I use Roboform and have for around 15 years. I don't store my passwords in the cloud, they are stored locally, and when I travel they are stored, encrypted of course, on a thumb drive. I couldn't begin to remember all my passwords, just too many of them. Roboform also will fill out forms and encrypt notes to yourself, and ask to store passwords when you fill out a new, or old, form/login.

RE: Password Manager Question

I downloaded (keepass V1.28) and put it on a thumb drive and added a couple of entries, but when I try to go to one of these sites all it does is go there but does not put in (user name and pass word) to log me in? Any idea what I am not doing right? TIA Bob

RE: Fresh Water Hose

I find the white Camco hose very hard to coil up or uncoil when cold, rigid as copper tubing, in the summer no problem. :(
