RE: Gray/Black sensor problems

Common problem. Fairly difficult to keep the sensors clean as they require constant cleaning.

RE: digital volt meter

I doubt you could disconnect without killing the tank level indicators, I would just tie on to the 12 volt line going to that panel.

RE: Awning Sun Protection

I like it, it is definitely worth the time especially if your rig stays outside all the time.

RE: FIXED: Bed Lift too weak after 4" Gel Mattress topper add

Same problem here, replaced the mattress and added a topper & was afraid to put heavier shocks so I keep a stick and raise the bed with 2 hands & get wife to place a precut rod to hold it up. May have to look into your answer.

RE: little surprise every time we dump the tanks

Your valve is not sealing properly and leaking.

RE: Electric stabilizer jacks

Store ours with the jacks up, mostly because I am too lazy to lower them since we will not be inside except to load up or unload so it does not have to be solid. :)

RE: Question about Battery Drain

You will not have any problem, will only draw current when the pump is switched on. :)

RE: Battery not charging while driving

As mentioned some TV require a relay to be added, I believe it is Gen Motors. Fords come ready to go if it has the tow package. :)

RE: solar smartphone charger

On e_bay you can find battery packs for about $10.00 that can charge your phone, I have a couple.

RE: Light Bulbs overheating????

Sounds like the wedge type bulbs #921, those get so hot they will remove your finger prints and the turn black inside. I replaced all of mine with LEDs. :)

RE: DirecTV (ATT) changing their policy?

Anytime AT&T gets involved you can count on things getting messed up big time, and don't call for support unless you want to spend hours on the phone being bounced from one dept. to another and getting a different answer from each. :)

RE: 50 AMP cord storage

I like my method better. Since our rig stays plugged in at home I simply disconnect and put in the back of the truck. :)

RE: 30 amp surge protector suggestions?

Get a Progressive Industries unit, the best and a life time warranty.

RE: Drilling a hole to run battery wires

Just use the shortest cables possible & protect them from abrasion. PS & large enough.

RE: Surgeguard Surge Protectors (schematics)

Don't waste your time with Surge Guard, all they will do is sell you a new unit. Just buy a Progressive Industries, life time warranty, servicable. Been there done that. Never a surge guard again. :)

RE: Getting waste to flow up into a waste tote.

This is exactly what I do, except my reason is to not have to handle that heavy loaded tank. Any suggestions on getting waste water to flow up hill into tote? The obvious answer has already been offered - elevate the trailer. However, from your description that may mean elevating it quite a bit so an alternate solution, though costly, is to put that way too big, way too heavy tote tank in the back of your truck and pump waste (grey & black) into the tote with a FloJet Waste Macerator Pump. You'd then also no longer have to drag a heavy tote to hook it to the truck nor drag it to the dump station at "walking speed" but can simply drive your truck to the dump station with the tote in the back. That is the best solution and the first thing I thought of. Also solves the weight problem with the large tote.
