RE: $30 mini batwing at Fry's electronics

Should work pretty good. :)

RE: anyone ever extend their low point drains?

No but that sounds like a good idea.

RE: Odd refrigerator problem

I honestly don't think the loose sensor is your problem. Give it a little more time. The freezer does get cold first but if the refrigerator still does not get cold, probably time for a new fridge. :(

RE: External laptop coolers

I use one of the chill pads that you sit the laptop on and it makes a big difference. :)

RE: Air Conditioner Test

I doubt too many people see a 20 ? differential, as mentioned 15 to 18 is good IMHO. :)

RE: Lubing bevel gears in landing gear legs

Yes you should be able to see/feel & apply grease with your finger to the bevel gears, as they are not far below the covers. Your plan sounds like what I would do. I do like the dual motor set up. Measuring the voltage at the motor while lifting is also a good idea as you may have a bad connection causing voltage drop somewhere between the motor & battery. :)

RE: Will high temps and humidity do and damage to a camper?

I run a humidifier in our 5er when not in use, set desired humidity at 55%. Makes a difference. :)

RE: Converter had a shower... how do I test it?

1st let it dry out real good using a fan blowing on it, then plug it in. If no smoke get a volt meter and check to see if it is working. :)

RE: JT Strongarm installation - easy, but customer service?....

Had mine for almost 8 years and when I installed I called about a problem I ran into the gentleman was very helpful telling me how to solve my problem. Very happy. Would do again. :)

RE: Dirt roads, washboard roads for RV travel?

Not something I would want to do everyday, I just take it slow & easy. Sometimes it just cannot be avoided.

RE: How do you protect your surge suppressor

I purchased the hard wired EMS unit from Progressive for 3 reasons. 1. Keep me from forgetting it at the pedestal 2. Keep it from growing legs. 3. Keep it out of the weather.

RE: Large slideout blows fuse

If one fuse is 25 amp slow blow the other needs to be at least the same. I would replace that 20 amp fuse. :)

RE: How Are My A/C's Doing?

To determine the differential you measure the return air & output air. Not the outside temp. :)

RE: DC current pull from a 150 w inverter with 14 w load?

approximately 12.0A @ 12 Vdc or slightly higher depending on inverter efficiency. :)

RE: A/C Coil Cleaner

Both coils need to be cleaned for efficient operation. I buy coil cleaner in a aerosol can and spray on the evaporator coil and let sit a few minutes then turn unit on and it does a great job, no water needed. For the condenser coil I either just use the garden hose or aerosol coil cleaner. Been doing that for years no problems. :)

RE: A/C question to ponder

Correction, you could easily run 3 even 4 A/C units on 50 amp service because a 50 amp service is actually 2 50 amp lines totaling 100 amps of service. :)

RE: Awning starting to roll up crooked?

With the awning fully extended, take hold of one of the arms and move it in the required direction and check it again. May take 2 or 3 tries to get it aligned again but it will. I have had to do that. :)

RE: Duo Therm A/C

If you are saying the compressor keeps running, then I would say you have a stuck relay. :)

RE: Lights very dim on shore power
