RE: K-cup Coffee without Electricity in our TC

Very ingenious, necessity is the mother of invention. I really like your resourcefulness. :)

RE: Trip Planning and GPS Software

This is what I do. Got Mapsource with my GPS, don't know if it is still available. I agree Matt Doesn't Google Maps understand RV'ers would pay to use a good map program, instead of just free google map. I still use Garmin Mapsource to load my GPS for my motorcycle trips. It was expensive, but works. I will figure out my routes on google map and fine tune it, then plot it on mapsource. Then; connect the GPS to the computer and shove the plan over.

RE: Cedar Creek Secret Cable Switch

It is a small push switch about 1/8" diameter and usually have a LED close to it to indicate if the power is on for the antenna preamp. Must be off for cable input to work.:) There should be a wall plate that has a small switch to turn off the antenna booster power. Most have a cigarette lighter socket.

Whatever is required for the heaviest current draw you anticipate.

RE: Charge Wizard needed?

Not sure about your model converter, but if it has provisions to add the Wizard, it is definitely worth adding it. Some of the newer models have it built in, I just don't remember the model numbers. I added the Wizard right after I bought the rig and it is plugged on 24/7 unless moving and I never had battery problems or needed to add water. Ok I just looked up the PD9130 and it does not have the built in Wizard, but does have the socket to plug in a Wizard. I highly recommend getting one.

RE: Fresh Water Tank Overflowing from City water Hookup!!

You could save some money by adding a check valve in the line to the pump instead of replacing the pump.

RE: Adding Another Shore Power Input

A ATS is the best & safest way to do what you want. By all means do remove power to original input when you do this, because some kid or even an adult will go touch the pins and probably get killed or seriously injured and beside feeling bad about it you will be held liable. :)

RE: Remote computer access

Can you still get win 7? My laptop came with vista and a free upgrade to 7 and it worked great but now I would love to reload 7 and don't think I can get it free anymore.

RE: Water filling at dump station

agree, just the hose is in question. Not to justify her actions but, other than the delivery hose which who know where its been, the water is from the same piping system. LEN

RE: city water running out

Low point drain valves are open, some units do not have valves, they use a cap on the end of the drain line. If your drain lines have threads on them there should be caps to put on there, if no threads then there are valves some where above. On my unit I have to remove the bottom drawer of the kitchen cabinet to get to the drain valves. Happy hunting. :)

RE: Can't run a portable freezer on B&D battery station

I doubt that B&D battery station has enough to start up that compressor.

RE: Acessories for a TT

The reason it will not let power thru is it is seeing no ground and that is a nice feature when plugged into the pedestal because you want to know if there is a open ground. All ginnys usually do not have a ground. Simple flip the little switch to bypass the management & let power thru when using a ginny. If I do a Progressive EMS system again, I will go portable. The thing I don't like about the hard wired version is it won't allow power in from my Honda EU2000i until I flip a little switch on the remote of the EMS. Ditto on the power drill. There's a huge thread on that right now. Water pressure regulator for when you use city water inlet at a campground.

RE: Acessories for a TT

Progressive Industries makes the absolute best EMS and they even come with a life time warranty.

RE: ? TV Rodent Repellant LEDs?

I read somewhere that someone had put LED lights to light up under the hood for that purpose and they said it worked. 3rd hand info for what that's worth.

RE: Shaving soap

I've been using a brush and soap from CVS and Walgreen's, but they are not always available from there. You can get them from Lehman's online, too. This is without doubt the very cheapest way to go, as it should be; no can, no fancy propellant package, etc. http://non-electric.lehmans.com/search?w=shaving%20soap Which soap do like, they have about a dozen.
