RE: Is it a good time to sell?

Kinda ironic , there are quite a few posts on forums bad mouthing dealers for trying to get the highest dollar for their RVs , but here it is OK for individuals to try for the highest dollar . We all , dealers and private sellers are looking out for our own best interest . Just an observation .

RE: Shearing the sheep

That is the nature of the beast . Would you expect someone to sell for less than they can get ?

RE: lug nut socket

Try it . I had the correct size but the wall thickness of socket would not fit in the well .

RE: Do most parks check/copy your ID? (Victims of ID theft)

I often wonder if it is legal to make a copy of your drivers license . It is not your license , it belongs to the state that issued it .

RE: first time out

You can check every thing in your driveway except maybe the air cond.. Leave some water in your tank when traveling in case you need a potty break on the road . As soon as ya turn water pump on or hook up to water get in the habit of turning on a hot water spigot this will ensure that you have water in water heater .

RE: banks

Insted of robbing anymore banks I am thinkin that I might start raisin boneless chickens , every body is selling them so there must be a demand . How do dem chickens get around in the pen , do they just roll to the food bowl or do ya have to carry them ? Maybe I will maybe start growing formica as I have a small back yard , I guess ya only need a 4 foot by 8 foot yard . I need to make a little more money as my wife is takin my beer money away .
wanderingbob 09/09/20 10:01am Around the Campfire

If you get a loan at a bank you pay for thirty years . If you rob a bank you are out in ten years . Follow me for more financial advise !

RE: Should I consider an onboard air pump??

The volume of air in an airbag is less than many bicycle tires . If you are only gonna do a couple times a year I would not spend three or four hundred dollars on an on board compressor . Maybe buy a kayak or fish pole ?

RE: Should I consider an onboard air pump??

A bike hand pump will do easy . I have the same truck with bags and can get them up to 50 lbs in seconds . Onboard air is not for REAL MEN !

RE: Waste/Sewage System

I have done it several times with no problems . If it only last several years just dig another . I took a 55 gallon drum and shot a bunch of holes in it , buried it at a house in Port Orange Fl . It is still working 14 years later . RV toilets do not use as much water as household toilets which makes having a large leach field less necessary . Two drums connected aught to work good . I guess a lot depends on the type of soil , all mine have been in sandy Florida soil . Myself I would not ask permission .

RE: Newbie trailer owner, quite confused

Many garages in older homes will have an outlet that looks like an RV plug , it probably is not an RV plug but is a 220 volt dryer plug . If ya plug in there it will blow a lot of stuff in your trailer and all your babies will be born naked !

RE: bubble on EPDM roof by the seam

RE: Selecting portable compressor

I also advocate for 110 volt compressor as said by "bpounds " but , I never would run a compressor on an extension cord . You can move air thru a hose with out increasing the amps needed , unless the extension cord was at least # 12 ga .

RE: Water refill when dry camping
