Cell service in Canada

We have Verizon and they talk about turning on TravelPass for $5 a day only charged when actually using your phone when in Canada. Is this what most use or are there other options?

RE: Quartzsite LTVA

Read online the BLM sez they haven't received LTVA stickers yet. So just go in and stay and go back to the entrance stations later when they can check you in. Desert Messenger Yesterday at 1:19 PM ยท La Posa BLM LTVA area is open for camping. However the permit stickers have not arrived, so entrance stations are closed. Yuma Field office states campers are welcome to camp for free until the stations open. When the flag is raised, the entrance station is open! https://www.blm.gov/office/yuma-field-office https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=Desert%20Messenger&epa=SEARCH_BOX

RE: Problem with Extended Warranty

OP - I wish you luck, and hope your policy is as mentioned, where it specifically spells out what is 'not included', and thus all other items should be covered. Agree that WW will be your friend in determining if it's an appropriate item the Insurance/Warranty company should be covering. I'd suggest out of fairness to WW, that you send a request to a Moderator to change the title to state Problem With Extended Warranty - not WW:)! And not to add to your pain, but maximize the labor costs involved in the removal, and have other items tested on your dime, replace and or refurbish as needed.... Best, Smitty Thanks for the suggestion I changed the Topic title as WW did come through for us. I'm very happy with them. The radiator is coming from Source Eng. Eugene, OR and also on my dime an upgraded fan from them. Jim out there is great to work with and also did my trailing arms and ride enhancement kit.

RE: Problem with Extended Warranty

An update The warranty issuing company has stood up for us and has now approved the claim and the new radiator is being built. The warranty company Wholesale Warranties is now bypassing the claims administrator company and handling it all with the repair shop. We have been stuck here for almost two weeks just getting up to this point. I recommend WW they were very helpful in getting this resolved.

Wholesale Warranties has approved the claim and will deal directly with the repair shop instead of going through Strategic Administrators. I highly recommend WW. They listened and acted and took care of the issue.

RE: Warrantiy claim denied

I think I would consider another shop for the repairs. I don't believe they are very bright or honest. Can't move as the radiator is disconnected and this is the only repair shop in town.

RE: Problem with Extended Warranty

The problem isn't with Wholesale Warranties but the repair facility telling the claim insurance broker that the cause was a stuck thermostat when they had not even tested it. I appealed to the WW claim service help. Warranty company sent out an independent inspector and he tested the thermostat and found it to be good. And he said even if it was bad it would not cause the radiator to fail. So waiting for the warranty company to get his report and get back to me. WW has been very responsive and helpful with this.

RE: Warrantiy claim denied

Stuck thermostat or not has nothing to do with a blown radiator. The radiator is protected by its 15 psi cap. The independent inspector said the same thing.

RE: Warrantiy claim denied

I need to get the repair shop to test the thermostat to see if it is stuck shut. If not they said they should cover this. They are denying the claim because the shop told them it was because of a stuck thermostat without testing it. I ask after how driving all day across AZ without any problem watching my Scan Gaurd monitor. So when I stop it gets hot. My question is if after traveling all day with the thermostat open how could it all of a sudden could it close down (stuck shut) and overheat??? It would still be at about 200 deg. How could a thermostat close down after being up to temp all day? I could see it not opening up at the start but when already up to temp. The shop said they were convinced the only thing could cause the radiator to fail would be the thermostat. Couldn't they just say the radiator failed and leave it at that? So now not happy with the repair shop or the warranty company.

Warrantiy claim denied

I have a 05 Monaco Cayman 36PDQ and going across western AZ and my radiator developed a leak. Right now am at a repair shop in Quartzsite (been here a week and the build time is another week) when Source Eng. builds me a new radiator. The shop had talked to the warranty company servicing agent Strategic Administrators and said this was covered. Now they called back denying the claim. Said it must have been caused by a stuck thermostat and claim denied. I have a call into WW claims help desk. Is this normal for radiator claims to all be denied? There is nothing I could have done to prevent this and just had all serviced two weeks ago at Cummins in Tucson, AZ Are all warranties a rip-off? My radiator springs a leak and somehow it is my fault.
