RE: Casita vs "conventional" small trailers

There's aftermarket support for the Casita as far as upgrades and axles and such.
Have you looked at the Escape trailers out of Canada?
Similar to the Casita, but they have a 21'.

RE: Campground in Wilmington NC

Check to see if you can get a place at Topsail Sound RV Park. It's out of the Wilmigton area proper but not to far and a great park.

RE: replacement of catalytic converter

If you need one, and can do the work, I suggest looking up Muffler Express Ltd.
They shipped me a complete set for my van, for less than just having one replaced at a shop.
If you do R&R it yourself, then contact Rockaway Recycling in Mew Jersey to dispose of the old one.

RE: 30 amp or 50 amp

Would it be better to have the power company plant a pole and run a service line out to a stand alone breaker box?

RE: Garmin BaseCamp

I have a Chromebook. I also have a Garmin 60/2 series handheld that can't be updated without a windows based machine.
That why I was asking.
Thanks for the replies.

RE: Finding the right trailer for a couple

I'm in the same boat. I'm leaning to the 25' range. I think the bunk areas if there, could come in handy for extra storage. DW doesn't want to go small, but I want something small enough to use boondocking.

RE: New Camping World Bash

I used to really like to go into CW to eyeball stuff Had service and warranty work there a couple times. Always good experience.
We've been out of the RV thing for some years, and are thinking about getting back into it again.....With that, as CW has chosen to step into the political arena, I may not need to patronize them anymore....And to think they are to build a new facility here in a local town..
By alienating a certain group of folks from buying from you, it hurts everybody down the line with possible declining sales and increase service cost to make up for it.
