Here are just a couple of terms that I have yet to figure out what they mean. I'll probably have more to add as I keep enjoying these boards.

Navy Shower?

Jack Knife Sofa?

navy shower helps save water
(correct me if I'm wrong folks but)

ya hose down (shut off water)
lather up/scrub
rinse

jacknife couch eh???
I have a few thoughts, but Am interested to find out from someone who knows

Robert

p.s. *seems* first thought was correct, it's the converta-bed mechanism that looks/works like many futon couches.

Navy Shower: Turn water on to get wet everywhere - Turn water off and soap up - turn water back on to rinse off.

Jack Knife Sofa - Lift upward on front until the back lays flat, then lower seat back down to make into a bed. Raise seat back up until catches then lower back down to convert back to sofa.

Hope this helps.

jackknife sofa = UNcomfortable bed. It is a couch that you "jackknife" to open into a bed (NOT like a sleeper sofa). You lift the seat part up from the front and the back folds down flat to form a "bed". Most are terribly uncomfortable.

navy shower = save water. Wet, turn off water, soap, rinse.

Thanks for the fast replies. Here's another one.

What is BLM land or a BLM area?

LOL! OK so I'm getting the impression that I want to stay away from jack-knife sofas! Thanks for the advice.
