Lou you are a real trooper! Thanks not only for the lists, but all your hard work and willingness to share!

The Walk Through list will help us. We heard yesterday that our new Cameo is shipping. In fact it was in Cheyenne, WY, in a snow storm, on it's way to Salem, OR. It will be an experienced traveler by the time it gets out here! Trouble is, I'm worried about it going all that way in the winter storm that has been raging between Indiana and Idaho. I'm crossing my fingers and toes that it won't be damaged. It left the factory on Feb. 22, and was in Cheyenne on Mar.1. Sounds like something held them up.

If it were here we would be camping today. Out here on the left coast it has been beautiful weather for about 2 weeks. It has been clear and cold (20's at night is cold for us!). During the day it is so Spring like I've got most of my Spring yardwork done and am ready for camping. The coast is only 57 miles away, and it is warm enough for beach walks there.

Thanks again, Lou. You & those like you are what make this forum so helpful.

Dee

Excellent list!!!
A couple of things I would add. Check the Fantastic fan rain sensor by spraying watter on the rig to make sure it closes when it rains.
Listen for the operation of the watter pump to make sure it doesn't turn on when your not running watter. I had a problem with a check valve in the pump in that it would let the watter run into the holding tank when the unit was hooked to a water source. The pump would run about every 2 minutes trying to re-establish pressure in the system. If you spend the first night in the rig without using shore water then you should find the problem. I also noticed it because my fresh watter tanks would fill up and then drip from the fill location even though they were empty when I parked.... filling up from the shore watter line through the watter pump.

Thanks again for the list. I'm currently looking for a good used 5er and this will help to make sure I know what I'm getting/paying for.
