I am sure you already know this, but probably the greatest vet that has ever lived is close by you. Dr. Bruce Gradous ,hope spelling is right, has his office on Old Waynesboro Road, explain the situation, I am sure you will love him!

Yep. I have known Dr Gradous for about 40 years. He is the greatest vet I have ever known.

Poor thing. I hope you get him, send a pic if you do. I found a dog when we were camping this weekend at Terrible's Lakeside in Pahrump NV. I took him to the office. They said someone claimed him but didn't seem too emotional about it. Geez, it it were my boy, I'd be a mess.

All animals that live on the land and handouts have a miserable and short life. God bless you for going back and picking him up.

I would not be able to keep another dog but I think I would take him to one of the pet adoption agencies (a no kill shelter) and give them a donation to house him until they could adopt him out.

I know if that were my Dixie Dew, the mighty Schnauzer, I would be eternally grateful to you. I love people like you.

Go back and get him please. I have "inherited" all my dogs from other people and I get really put out when I see an animal mistreated. I am glad there are people like you that take care of them. Let us know how it works out.

well good for you! Please keep us posted on his progress. I hope he gets along great with your pooch and will enjoy his new home. Certainly a regular diet and vet visits ought to perk him up!

Got to thinking and I can't understand how the owners/managers at that CG couldn't have gotten the poor old guy a nice Dogaloo, provide fresh water, food and regular vet check-ups. Makes you wonder about people, and all the people who fed him and then left him.

I hope you find him.
