Good news about the booster.
I read today the People who received Moderna have double the antibodies then ones that received the Pfizer.
I got the Moderna and Patty got the Pfizer.
As of now we are not eligible for the booster until December.
We have plans for Florida this winter but Patty is having second thoughts unless this surge lessons

Spousal Unit and I both got the Moderna. That report makes us feel a bit safer about the trip we have to make later this month. It does involve air travel. I'm taking along a big bag of triple ply masks and will change masks between airplanes, just because. Where we're going is not a COVID hot spot so far...

I'm not surprised by the Moderna producing more antibodies as their shot had 100 micrograms dose while the Pfizer had 30 microgram. This is probably why they are going to recommend a 3rd shot the end of this month.
Stay safe on your travels, and have fun.

I remember all the obstacles of the original rescue, the across country trip for Anna, the statue and the bricks, and the establishment of the shelter. Richard and Old fella have made quite a legacy. I am sure there are many more highlights others can remember.

Headed back up to Indiana in MinnieMee. Mom had a stroke last Saturday and my sister wants me there. Since I have my dog and don't know how long I will be gone, I decided to take the motorhome. We are in Dothan, Alabama, for the night. This is my 3rd trip to Indiana since April. It's getting old fast.

I drove 11 hours today, but I was pretty pumped. Once I cross into Indiana where I lived all my life, I feel like it's all downhill. Even jumped off 65 due to stopped traffic and took a detour before getting back on. Jumped off again north of Indy and took state routes to my sister's place. I had a smooth trip all the way.
The best news is yesterday we were talking feeding tubes and today Mom passed a swallow test and was eating her lunch. Her speech is back and she is easily understood. I saw her tonight and she was very tired because they booted her out of the hospital and into a nursing home for rehab. She was at this same facility when she fell and cracked her pelvis several years ago.
Hers they said was a major stroke and too much time had passed to give her the clot busting meds. The doctor said he has never seen a 96-year old patient turn around like she has. Yay Mom!
Don't know how long I'll be here, but I have everything I need.

Great news on your mom!
My wife has recovered from COVID. She had a mild case but she is still tired all of the time and her taste is only back to about 80%. She has been back at work this week. She felt good enough to take a weekend trip to the casino (after she tested negative last week) so I know she is feeling better! ![smile [emoticon]](http://www.rv.net/sharedcontent/cfb/images/smile.gif)
