I went to the dealer, bought an extra crank handle ($14) and just cut it off with a sawzall. Well worth it, though I find that to get the jacks real snug, I still need to make the last 1/2 turn by hand with the manual crank.

I use an 18mm socket and a 3/8" adapter for the drill...I don't have Happijacs (Palomino B800) but it sure beats the livin cr*p out of cranking....the drill generally doesn't have enuff torque to lift, but its very slick for dropping the jacks to balance the camper on the truck and to drop it onto my little garage trailer.

I use a 5/16" X 6" bolt. The bolt head is 1/2" across and fits perfectly into the happijac. I also filed 3 flat spots on the threaded end of the bolt so my cordless can get a better grip on it.

Buying the crank handle ($14) and cutting it off is the best idea. The made for drill attach. is $35. Go figure! Ron Day
