Well long ago my riding buddies pened me with griz....but most every variation of that exists on these forums....I dabble in metal arts and and call my studio Grizzly Art studio...here is a table [less the glass] that I made out of an old ice house saw blade. plasma cut the griz paws out. anealed the bear out of flattened 3" copper pipe. copper over steel leg. cast iron base, all sealed in car coat clear. Griz. Pretty simple for me also. I am from Alaska (the "AK") and I love and do travel. Many years ago when I first chose my internet ID, I found that in typing quickly that I would drop the "e" from traveler. Hence "Aktravler" there are a couple of others on this and other forums that use a similar ID, but I believe that I am the "oldest", in most all of them.

But all of us Alaska Travelers are wonderful people. [emoticon]

I grew up in the 1950's, and I always liked the song "Staggerlee"
since that was taken, and my name is Lee, I shortend to Stgrlee...

What a great thread, fun to read and fun to find out about all the hidden faces.

Tightline can have many meanings, to me it is a good thing because I love to fish, simply means I have a fish on!
To my son it is a bad thing, he rock climbs and it means a fall, bad thing!
Now comes the 101, it's what I am always telling my son, remember Biology 101, remember Chemistry 101, but always remember Climbing 101-the basics, be careful.

I am known to most of the little ones in our life as 'Pops'. 'Pops' was already taken. At the time we had an orphan from Nicaragua living with us and when someone would ask who I was she would say ' That's 'my Pops'. She has since been adopted but we sure miss her!

I guess my creativity is expressed in other ways than a cute handle. Had I gone with a handle, it probably would have been AVGUY, hinting at my career working with audio and video equipment.

Old saying: One for the money; two for the show; three to get ready and four to go. Now, for us, it is: One - get money, Two - get ready and Three (us and our cat) to go.
