Mine is another difficult one. Signed in to ask questions awhile back and didn't get very creative. Great topic! For some odd reason I missed it and came across it as a link. Glad to bring it back to the front and hope others add late like myself. Good to get to know everyone.

Mine comes from the Stillaguamish River in Western Washington. She runs from the Cascade mountains and empties into Puget Sound. There is a Northfork and a Southfork of the River. On the Northfork there is a little park called Blue Stilly. The water is REALLY blue and REALLY cold. Just a great place to relax, swim, BBQ or what ever makes you HAPPY !

seldomseensmith - someone on this forum guessed it might be a reference to my fondness for Edward Abbey, a writer of essays and fiction about southwestern landscapes. Well, yes and no, mostly no. While I do enjoy most of Mr. Abbey's writing, the handle basically stems from the fact that my last name is Smith, and my friends have gotten used adding a new "S" page to their address books every year or so because I move around ALOT!

Westwindsyrah is our Australian Shepard. (Syrah) we were planting a syrah grape vineyard block at the time and her Formal name is Westwinds Syrah McMurray. The vineyard name was Westwinds.

Hey Spot! Good thread. Haven't seen that done before. Well, mine is pretty easy. Back in the day... LOL.... I was a dude because if you rode Harleys or were a cowboy you were a dude. The Harley part is obvious to anyone who's known me. Been riding hogs since 1967. That was back when "choppers" were made with a cutting torch and a welder and started life as a Harley, Norton, Triumph, or BSA... period!!! And the cheaper and easier the better. As for old... my credo..."growing old is mandatory... growing up is optional!" Hence you now have the rest of the story....
