My last full-time job was working in an outdoor power equipment dealership, repairing, among other things, lawn mowers.

This is my Ham radio call sign. I was in WArwick, RI, so it was a nice one I got to pick. Now I am in FL and Ham friends asked if I would change. No, keeps my roots showing this way.

I always liked the boat name stories too. Good thread.

I moved to Omaha, Nebraska in '93 during the Big Flood - flat, water everywhere! I missed the comfort of being surrounded by mountains and it didn't take me long to realize that I'll always be a mountain child - hence mtnchild. I left NE to get back to Oregon in '01 (the day after the Towers fell), and I'll always be a mountain child no matter the age!!!

My first 4x4 was a Ford Ranger, (which I did put a TC on) and I was the only one without a girlfriend.

Our dog is an Italian Greyhound, and they are affectionately known as "IG"s or "Iggies" to most owners. Actually, WE don't own HER; SHE owns US.
