Wayward1 is short for wayward one a name I got as a child. Have two other brothers and I was always running the other way. The wayward one. Boondocker, biker, Truck Camper. I finally met my true "Salmon Partner" yes she always swims against the current of the masses like myself so I guess I should change the handle to wayward 2.

I've had a few screen names.... Darth Matt, N1RWC (my old Amateur Radio Callsign), NA1Q (my New Amateur Radio Callsign)...to name a few. Then when I joined the board, I decided on Sportsman Matt, being that I love to hunt and fish. Lately I've been doing lots more fishing and lot less hunting, but I'm keeping it, as it fits my outdoor personality. Plus my girlfriend says it fits me like a glove... of course the comment she makes is that she's a "girlly girl".

Have fun and enjoy

Bajachief - I live in San Diego and we go to Baja, Mexico quite often. Name started from my friends because when we would go on the trips I was "in charge" and everyone would ask the Chief what was next...

We live on Cleary Summit, 20 miles north of Fairbanks. Frank Cleary was one of the early pioneers in this area during the gold rush.
