This is a great thread and a great way for those that want to join in to learn some of the people that visit here and contribute. I have met a number of great people here and have come to recognize their "handles." But, like a few people I have talked to have said; "I never take note of who is saying what, just what they are saying."

I will just repeat what I wrote a few pages back.

Mine? Simple enough, bka0721, my initials and the last four digits of my phone number. It makes it easy when I give it to others or my email address. It minimizes the need to repeat and repeat until someone gets it.

Thanks Spott, for "bumping" this up again.

My initials - djc. My first computer I bought had a 486 processor. It was the best home computer money could buy. Back in those days no fancy high graphics internet sites. Would call up individual computers and get hooked up to their system that just allowed you to access text only info. Things have really changed.

Ridesabout is what we do. Traveled approximately 70,000 miles using truck camper since retiring. Always want to see what is down every side road and what is around the next bend.

My screen name is my initials and the number of the Southern Pacific steam locomotive that my grandfather didn't notice until too late on June 12, 1947 in Hayward, CA.

GypsyRose = I drive a truck, love to travel and don't stay in one place very long - hence the Gypsy and I'm a Rose among thorns in the trucking industry.

Hunt and peck typer here. Was going to be Portable Parking Lot since that's what I drive for work, but Big_Rig is easier to log in with.
