---Please go to the http://www.b-rally.org/ for ALL B-5 RALLY INFORMATION ---
As Rodger said, he closed the B5 "discussion" thread so I'm starting this new thread which will concentrate on specifics about the B5 rally at Scenic View Campground.
My time is somewhat limited since I have a company to run but a team of qualified folks have volunteered to help me with this rally - they are: Nick & Chris (Charles), Lynne (Lynne Jayzee), Judy (Qjane) and David (Asheguy). I will relay on them for their experience in setting up and carrying through on previous rallies and for helping me with the overall planning of B5.
In the coming months we will provide you with information as it becomes available like having a website with the ability to keep track of registrations, campground requirements and planned activities for the event. We cannot register with the campground till Feb. 1, 2008 but I know the owners of Scenic View will work with us to assure we accommodate as many folks as we can - my plan is to not limit the amount of rigs this year if at all possible.
We have lots of time between now and May but rest assured that we are working together to try to bring you the best rally yet. Please be patient with answers or updates.
If you want to re-read my initial presentation of Scenic View and Hocking Hills, go to page 24 of the B5 discussion thread.

Thanks for your efforts.
I have some ideas in a couple of areas, and would be willing to work on them if others liked my brainstorms.
People were as friendly as could be in Raccoon rally NC, but I think a bit more information could have been shared if the process was made easy and fun.
The folks who organized the B 4 did a great job, but each rally should take on a life of its own, in my humble opinion.
A slight off topic aside. I saw an ad for a Club Jamboree rally to be held in New Orleans. It lists many fun things, but not once does it recognize that its in a disaster area and people coming my be able to volunteer and give some help in some way or another. I can't go for that, no can do.
So keep 5 alive and thats no jive!

In my thorough disgust over the original bickering and final backstabbing over the location of the B5 Rallye, I stayed away from the thread until the voting was over but last night I re-read all of the posts and, somewhere, I seem to have lost an important piece of information: has the date been established somewhere in the voting and, if so, when is the rallye to be held??

We are at the Scenic View campground as I type on their satellite WiFi connection at campground site 7. This is a really nice place. Jim&Caroline and Charles picked wisely. The owners are nice people. There is a pool, pavilion, craft room, rec room, restrooms and showers. It is very clean. The grounds are heavily wooded and a bit hilly not unlike Raccoon Holler. With 61 electrical sites we will be all over the grounds and not in one concentrated area as far as I can determine. The sites, IMO, are better than the Raccoon Holler sites. Charles mentioned a restaurant on site. I see no evidence of that unless they operate a snack bar. Logan is about 8 miles north and there is a shopping area with a Bob Evans Restaurant, McDonalds and Wal-Mart about 6 miles north on highways 33 and 664. 3-1/2 miles south is Old Man's Cave the main attraction of Hocking Hills State Park.
WiFi is free for 1 hour each day, $1.50 per hour additional or $7.50 per day all the time. I've got about 15 minutes left on my hour. I forgot to ask about it when the office was open but one hour tonight is enough. ![smile [emoticon]](http://www.rv.net/sharedcontent/cfb/images/smile.gif)
We ate dinner in Logan at the Sandstone. It was decent and reasonable but nothing to rave about. The Dutch Cafe is nearby. Tomorrow we are going to drive about 20 miles to historic Nelsonville and have breakfast at the Coffee Cup.
I have lots of pictures of the campground and will post them when I get the chance.

Off topic, I know, but I have to tell you Highlandtravelers and I returned to Nick's a month or so ago to try JeanAnn's breakfast potatoes. Mmmmmm. Yummy. Hope you have a super breakfast tomorrow.
Looking forward to seeing your Scenic View photos .
