Hey there Boo Boo!

Please let Ranger Smith and Cindy know that Rich and Liz and I got home safe and are unpacked. We all had such a great time at the rally. Thanks to Elizabeth and Dick for hosting such a great job! It was great meeting so many new people.

Also tell Ted to stick with the Bison and keep away from bear meat!!! It is definitely not as good [emoticon]

Well for those of you who left the Fall rally early here's a report on the final gourmet pot luck campfire dinner enjoyed by Paula and Jerry, Mike and Carol, Flyfisher Dave, and Ted & Cheryl.

Menu:
Bison & beans over wild rice,
Grilled Sweet Potato and Asparagus,
Campfire grilled steak tips,
Green salad with avocado and pine nuts,
Angel hair pasta with lemon artichoke pesto,
Grilled chicken.
Wine and beer as needed.

And for dessert:
Chocolate chip cream cheese on chocolate wafers,
Key Lime pie.

You shoulda stayed!
[emoticon]

What a great rally, Hoorahs to Elizabeth and Dick. See you all next year

Yes! We sure missed all our departed camping buddies this evening. It was a great reunion with old friends and so nice to meet all the new folks! This NE group is really something special! Elizabeth and Dick, once again, three cheers for both of you for all your efforts to make the rally the great success that it was! We look forward to visiting you tomorrow, along with Flyfisher Dave and Splash. We'll have lots of great memories to discuss! Looking forward to seeing everyone again in the not-too-distant future! In the meantime, hope to keep in touch with you all on the chat! Cheers! Paula and Jerry

Made it back, great trip, looking foreward to the next trip.
Headed out around 10AM, stopped on the Battenkill River at a closed bridge, caught a nice 15 1/2" rainbow trout, left there for Orvis in Manchester VT. Headed south from there to Bennington VT, stopped at the Revolutionary War Battlefield Monument, then headed southwest home. got in around 8:30PM after stopping at Pub 99 for dinner at 6:30PM.
Only had to stop once for gas on the way back in VT.

Great trip and glad to see everyone.

It was a sad day yesterday as we watched TC after TC leave Paradise Pines. Then it was our turn leaving a handfull of diehards to carry on.
We had a total of 40 sites filled. Thank you all for coming. We had a ball setting this up, but I think we are ready to put our feet up now and watch our replacements take up where we left off. In an effort not to forget anyone I will just say thank you to all who helped us,especially the Previous wagonmasters, the ones who put on seminars, provided flyers, donated items for our raffle and the list goes on. You made it soooo easy for us.
A special thanks to Mike T for giving us this opportunity.
See you all down the road

What Anne Said!
We are still in the North Hudson Jellystone, the weather's still perfect. What a great group was assembled here this past weekend, food, friends, and fun par excellance. Elizibeth and Dick have set a high bar for those who follow. Thanks to their hard work the North East Truck Camping Rally will long be remembered by us. We are hoping to wander here in the mountains for a few days.
Love to all,
Linda, Skip and Marley
