I can't believe you didn't invite the rest of us!!! Well I'm still glad you had a great time. I too would love some of those coords or perhaps some info on just where you were at. Better yet how about leading an expedition back there again?

Hey bigjimcruising and all...I'll go with anyone anytime! Everyone is invited when it's good for you. And I'll bring up the rear so you can have first time effect. Or set you up with directions so you can go yourself. Truly, I don't care if you have a Dodge or Ford, love them both, and would be glad to travel with em. Like I said, I'm going back in 6-8 weeks, wanna go jump some waterfalls?

Hey Trails, no after-pix of the rattlers, I used to raise them so no dead snakes in my wake. I hear they taste like chicken though.LOL

And yeah, that ol Jack was a pretty wise a$$ and definitely the leader of that group. I'll have to take his advice next time! No disparaging that old guy for sure Don. We both know he had the brains of that outfit.

The camera I use is a prosumer Cannon G6 with wide-angle lens.A good camera but not a great camera. Bought for backpacking and the fact it had a flip-out monitor that DSLR's didn't have at the time. Can't believe more DSLR's don't have them yet!

Dave,
As we say in the music business right after someone has played a great solo,
"Dave, you've still got it......I don't care what they say."
Absolutely captivating travelog/pics.
regards, as always, jefe

Whazoo:

You just keep moving the bar ever higher; there doesn't seem to be any limit to your talent as both a travel writer, photographer and explorer!

As was written by an admiring fan, 'Clapton is God', during his stint with John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, I'm saying, 'Dave is Divine'

...it's understood of course that you've earned the privilege to be added to Trip Reports [emoticon]

Cheers,
Silver-

Someone else already said "WOW", and I can only repeat it. Beautiful photos, excellent narrative.

Hey Farctic, absolutely you can. I'm happy to give info, directions or even ride drag (that doesn't sound quite right these days does it?) on any trip in my general direction.
