We just got back from a three month trip to the west coast - California, Oregon, Washington, then back via Nevada, Utah and Colorado. We did coast, mountians, desert, islands, hot, cold, rain and snow and had the prettiest campsites ever. Many times we were the only ones in the campground. Southeastern Oregon is incredible. We were the ONLY campers in the Hart Antelope Reserve with it's beautiful campground and natural hot springs. Check out our blog at http://truckntravels.blogspot.com for the story and lots of pics.
Happy travels.

I like the fact that the blog photos can expand to full screen on my 22" monitor - color, sharpness and composition were great!

By the way, I could use the photo of the campfire with the gasoline container in the background for a saftey message. . .could I use it?

Use it if it helps, but it was at least fifty feet away from the fire.

Thanks so much for sharing your pictures and descriptions.
We are looking forward to retirement so we can take our time camping. I thought we'd head to Alaska and the Yukon, but now I'm torn about which direction to go first.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like you had a great time and traveled through some beautiful country.
We are planning our yearly trip to Oregon in August. I grew up in Tillamook just south of Astoria.
Will be attending the fair and spending the rest of the next week gunk holing along the coast working our way back.
Thanks again.
