Despite imperfect weather and a business crisis that forced us to head home early we had a great trip up to Banff and Jasper in the Canadian Rockies. The rig performed flawlessly and I'm ready to go again!

Gas prices weren't much different than stateside (at least for diesel)

Anyway, I assembled some of the pictures with a few comments

Man I love these types of traveling pictures. Good desplay/spread kc----. One thing that comes to mind in buying a used truck, how were you so sure of its reliability of one that was that old, just to take off for on/the road ??? What was its millage? I might be in the same market...

Those are great pictures and nicely put together. Fantastic! I hope to do the Banff trip in a year or two and head all the way over to Drumheller, Alberta.

Great coverage! made virtually the same trip about 9 years ago when we had just purchased the new Lance in Yakima at one of the best Lance dealers in the USA. I see we have the same gas BBQ..it works really well and fits in the storage are where the gen goes. Now where do you carry it? I have/had a 10'9" 880 with no gen for that trip. It was on a '94 Dodge TCD 2500 with airbags.

Looks like you did some really nice upgrades to your Lance. I do like your gen set install and tank arrangement...very NICE!!! BTW, did you figure out the issue withthe fridge? I bet it is the control board, that was what happened to mine, replaced it with a Dinosaur board, no problems after that!

If you ever pass thru Tacoma WA, let me know! Enjoyed your post/pics! Capt PJ

pjay9, take a close look of it on the road (One of the first pictures past the upgrades). I believe he carries it on his bumper underneath the ladder [emoticon].

really good presentation. I need to finish some work on my camper, but it will be a while since it is built for an older truck and I have an 04. The tail gate opening is not wide enough so I have to modify the back of the camper.

Anyhow I plan to retire from full time job next summer, and maybe just maybe take a simular trip.

Thanks again I enjoyed it.
