Great write-up! I enjoyed the pics, those tents look to be set up and stocked up real well.

Whoa Dunes, cool map. Reminds me of Burke Mtn down here in Vermont. That fall trip is definitely looking good. Thanks.
When is the "Oops, it's getting a little cold for mountain biking" date up there?

Cheers everyone (Silversand replying here under Silverdunes account!):
Farctic:
The latest we'd do this would be roughly October 20th. There's really no chance of frost up till then. The daytime highs could be in the 60s F range...nights in the mountains will be in the 40s F.
Eubanks:
It's not surprising that the World Cup is held at AF, New Mexico! A spectacular setting for mountain biking for sure ![grin [emoticon]](http://www.rv.net/sharedcontent/cfb/images/grin.gif)
BTG:
We could send you a digital recording of the loon. I'm thinking of doing an orchestration of local bird songs into a kind of symphony~Fusion thing, using my digital audio studio tools!
