Whoa Dunes, cool map. Reminds me of Burke Mtn down here in Vermont. That fall trip is definitely looking good. Thanks.

The latest we'd do this would be roughly October 20th. There's really no chance of frost up till then. The daytime highs could be in the 60s F range...nights in the mountains will be in the 40s F.

It's not surprising that the World Cup is held at AF, New Mexico! A spectacular setting for mountain biking for sure [emoticon]

We could send you a digital recording of the loon. I'm thinking of doing an orchestration of local bird songs into a kind of symphony~Fusion thing, using my digital audio studio tools!
