Diamond Lake, Oregon Feb 2008 (Super Bowl weekend)
We were the ONLY rv's up there that weekend. We had the boat launch parking lot to ourselves.

Had to leave the next day. 2 of 3 roads in/out of the area were already closed, and the 3 closed the day after we left (all 3 were closed for at least a week).
Wish we could have stayed for 3 or more days. Very cozy, no kids, just the wife, myself and the small dogs.

We haven't in the EC's but have only stayed 2 nights in a row. The fan pulls air from right near the furnace with a return grill near the waste tanks in the shower wall that allows the air to flow back into the living area. It keeps warm air flowing around all of the tanks pretty well. I haven't yet put a temperature sensor in there to see where it keeps the temps.
There have been other posts on here in the past with people using TC's into really cold temps for long periods. They added insulation in places and shutoff valves for the outside shower among other things.

NSAYN,
Is that the basin of a washing machine that you are burning in?

Yes, the best kind there is....
If you don't have one, I recommend it! They keep the heat up high where it's useful. Once they've been burning a while, the metal heats up and radiates wonderfully.

Yes the wash machine drum was free at our local appliance store. They let me tear apart a washer and leave all the guts for them to recycle. It is made of thin porcelain coated steel sheet metal. Very light for its size, so moving it around or even hauling it is no issue.
As for the camper freezing.
Nope!
My heater has an output directed right into the basement tank area and does a great job of keeping the liquids well above freezing. All my plumbing is enclosed and heated this way.
