Last year we went to Port Angeles WA. for the Crab Festival for our first TC trip. We had such a good time and liked all the places we went to so much, we decided to repeat it again this year and will probably turn this into our annual event. Stayed at Salt Creek in the tent area. The RV sites were packed and kind of looked disgusting with all those people crammed together in their class A's, B's, TT's, Fivers, etc... There were so many people, dogs, smoking fires, relaxation would not have been possible there. Have full tanks and batteries, will boondock I say. TC's are great for getting into places all the afformentioned rifraff can't fit.[emoticon] Decent hiking and nature watching. One friend joined us and chose to setup his corvette as a camper. Worked great, sleeping head toward the trunk with the rear window to look through at the stars, legs out front on the console atop a foam pad. Charlie our cat went for his longest walk ever, around the whole camp area loop. Lots of birds and rodents to check out. For the most part, temps were in the 40's but no rain. Drove out to the Dungeness Wildlife Preserve. What a great view. Also stopped at one of the most manly places on earth. "The John Wayne Marina" in Sequim. Here are a few pictures, enjoy.

Jeff.

That about covers this trip. We're looking forward to camping throughout the winter months, in all weather conditions.

Jeff, one of the great things about truck campers is the ability to camp away from the rest. Thanks for posting and Happy Anniversary. [emoticon]
