Thanks for the DV report,

I certainly enjoyed my visit to DV earlier this year with Jefe & Jeanie as my tour guide. Look forward to your next report.

Hey, I get a twofer. I also remember Sunnymeade from my monthly weekends at March. I think it was probably under construction back then too.

RickW I've been in Moreno Valley for 24 year. You most likey have been to Sunneymead Bugers, which I've know the past 2 owners including the present owner makes 3. Of course there's the long time Shakey that is still own by Harold. If you haven't been here in awhile, it no longer the sleepy little town it once was.[emoticon]

ctraveler2,

I retired from March in 2003. We used to go the the Thai place on Alessandro for breakfast and the dragon place for lunch. Isn't Sunnymead burger on that street too? I commuted monthly from Sacramento. Some times they use to bus us out to the Hilton in San Bernardino each evening so we only saw MV from the window or through the fence.

Trivia: The original Shakeys was right here in Sacramento, started by Shakey Johnson. He helped organize the Jazz Jubilee in old town every memorial day. He passed a few years ago and the original restaurant has sinced burned down.

Waiting for DV II.

RickW, the Thai place is still there but with new owner that bought it last year, still good food. I had work at March Air Resvered Base for about a year, this was about 9 years ago. Sunnymead Bugers is on Sunnymead Blvd between Heacock and Gram plently of parking for us Tcers. Moreno Valley has changed a lot since 2003.
