Tracy and I left Norco at 8am on Saturday 12-6.

We set up our tailgate area at the Justice center about 3 blocks away from the Tamale Festival.

We had a few good tamales and a few not so good tamales. There was one booth with a couple of hour wait. Someday I would like to try their tamales if the line is ever more reasonable.

Tracy and I left the Tamale Festival about 3:30pm and headed for Fargo Canyon to find a place for the night. We ended up camping about 1/2 mile before Fargo Canyon enters Joshua Tree National Park. N 33° 45.880 W 116° 04.660

We had the whole canyon to ourselves. The stars were out for a couple of hours before the clouds moved in. We had a nice campfire while enjoying a few brews. We hit the rack about 10pm.

Sunday driving out of the canyon.

We stopped in Cabezon.

We were back in Norco at 1pm. Weather on Saturday was 80° during the day and only dropped down to the 50's at night. Sunday was cloudy all day and in the low 70s.

Looks like fun, we've been on the backroads in the same area.

In your last pictue I notice that you have a really big antenna... is it for your laptop?

Happy Holidays,

Sleepy

Have you had an eye test lately, Sleepy?

That 'antenna' appears to be a power pole...
