Ran a way for a few days again, and again I went to Nehalem State Park. I really like this park. Weather was great except cool.

Took the Jeep and ran down to Tillamook and Cape Kawanda.
Cape Kawanda was great. There were a few human seals floating around in the surf.

At Tillamook I stopped at the Air Museum. It was worth the stop.

At the end of the day there was a great sunset on the beach.

Oh! I all most forgot, the commuter train is in for repair at Tillamook. It will be awhile before it's ready for service.

Nice place Ore., some friends from Brooking are coming to visit Tuesday, will go back up there for a few weeks this summer. To bad the people who only go 40 miles from home with there RV's can't see it someday.

So big a world, so little time to see.

Sounds like a nice park...but...I've read that it is very..very windy. What do you think? We camped at Barview county park...I love it there in the tent camping area...but the RV space area...was so windy it was uncomfortable even sitting around the fire. Actually the camp chairs blew into the fire!!!! I never thought they would burn so fast!!!

The times I've spent on the coast have been fine. That's not to say the wind don't blow. I watch the weather and try to catch a good couple days to spend on the coast. Been lucky so far.

Thanks for the photos, we haven't been out west much but we're making a list of places to visit for when we can get there.

That's a beautiful area. I have camped in almost all of the parks along the OR coast and enjoyed them a lot. Thanks for sharing!
